Uniarmoire Christmas Retro Sleeveless Dresses 50s Cocktail Party Swing Dress Slim Fit

I knew going into this purchase that the quality wasn't going to be superb, but I was somewhat surprised that it wasn't nearly as cheap as I had expected. Looking at the description size/measurements and the comments others left and knowing from experience that many clothing items that come from China run small, I really expected the dress to fit right out of the package. I was a little bummed out that the material really didn't look black. From the 'blizzard' on the dress it gives the dress more of a brown hue rather than black. That color slightly contrasts with the black lace upper, but not enough for me to find a new dress. I'm generally a size 8, or 6 in dresses, but looking at these I got worried that a M wouldn't work so I went with a L. It was BIG on me. I sew, but didn't want to undertake this task as there was quite a bit to take in around the waist and under the arms. I'm returning and have already bought this in a M for my Christmas Party next week! I'll review the M size once it gets here.

This dress is very pretty. It also fit horrid. I knew the waist would be a little big but, I got the bigger size because I worried the chest would be too tight. As expected, the waist was a little big and the top was gigantic. I wear a 34D and usually my problem is that my chest pulls the top tight so the arm holes dig into my arm pits. This dress had the largest arm holes I have ever seen and was just huge. It was if they sewed the wrong sized top to it. I measured and double checked the sizes before I ordered. I was really disappointed because I have an hourglass figure and have a hard time finding dresses that fit and this is a style that usually works for me. It was for my work Christmas party which in the end I did not wear but, sent back for a refund.

i love the color and this is a beautiful dress but just to small for me

It was original and fun, recommend a petticoat with it. It fit ok, I wore a short black sweater with it as the armpit area pooches a bit. It’s definitely a fun party dress that stands out and is festive!
