High quality
I purchased the 14 oz one. It is small, of course. Very cute and functional. The steel is thick and this works well to keep the tea warm. I use it with my warmer on the stove. I do not recommend using it on a burner tho and that is not the purpose. No drips. Lid fits tight which allows for 1 handed pouring. The tea strainer/ diffuser is also thicker steel that does not bend easily.

Frieling Primo Teapot with Infuser, 34 ounce
I ordered this teapot with the creamer and sugar bowl set (comes also with a round, angled sugar spoon) and the tray. What a magnificent tea service set! I absolutely love it. Not only is it beautiful to look at, it feels wonderful, too. It is very high quality stainless steel and I think Frieling is worth every penny. There are no imperfections, seams or blemishes of any kind on any of the pieces. The handles are perfect in size and a man's larger hand would be able to grip them comfortably. The finish is a high shine but it looks very elegant and isn't over the top. The lid of the teapot fits snuggly in the teapot--which is something that is important to me so it doesn't move around or fall off when you are pouring the tea. The tray, creamer and sugar bowl are also of the same high quality material, finish and construction. The sugar bowl comes with an adorable spoon that fits in to the notched bowl, the lid lies perfectly on top. While the creamer is the size of a regular creamer, you can still froth milk in it. I'm very impressed with this set. Frieling has surpassed my expectations. I will update this review soon with details on how long the tea in the teapot stays hot.*UPDATE I poured boiling water into the teapot and made tea. One hour (I set a timer) later the water is still warm. Not hot, but very warm. The teapot pours very nicely and no dripping or spilling out when you pour, even when at the last of the tea.

Nearly perfect
I've spent the better part of 30 years as a professional taster and buyer of tea and coffee, and first encountered the Frieling coffee and tea products at a trade show, where their French Press proved very impressive. I'm glad I gave their teapot a try. After reading the other reviews I'd like to point out that Frieling seems to have made steady improvements to this pot. There are a couple of small holes for ventilation and draining on the rim now, and fit and finish are certainly excellent. That said, the pot could certainly still be improved. The infuser, while beautifully made, is much too small for really bold leaves such as Formosa Oolong, and also struggles to fully contain the expanded leaf of smaller leaf sizes when the dosage heads up towards the 3 grams per six ounces of water (industry standard is 2.5 grams) I and others living at high alittudes must use. It should be at least 25% larger, but I solve this problem by using a large size Finum infuser for such leaves. The only other obvious improvement would be to craft the pot from double-walled stainless steel, but this would undoubtedly double the price and add to the pot's current perfect weight. Through trial and error I've found that preheating the pot with nearly a liter of boiling water, then bringing that water back to a full rolling boil and using it for brewing, AND covering the pot with a cosy during brewing (while placing it atop a hot pad or trivet) and then removing the cosy for service results in tea that is as hot as possible without making the handle too hot to touch (which it will be if you leave the cosy on). So brewed tea stays plenty hot for 45 minutes or more. All in all I think this teapot is well worth its asking price. The few teapots that compete with it for tea quality (Chatsford, a few Bodum models) are nowhere near as durable, well-made or beautiful. It's a keeper.

Quiet teapot
I recently purchased the Frieling 18/8 Stainless Steel Teapot with Infuser, and while it has some positive aspects, I can't help but feel a bit underwhelmed.Durability: One of the strongest points of this teapot is its durability. The 18/8 stainless steel construction is top-notch and seems built to last. I haven't noticed any signs of rust or corrosion, even after a few months of use, and it retains its polished appearance. I have accidentally knocked it over a couple of times, and it didn't dent or scratch easily. This teapot can take a beating.Design : The design of the teapot is quite straightforward, which can be a pro or a con depending on your preferences. It's sleek and modern, but it lacks the elegance of some other teapots I've seen. The infuser is a nice addition, allowing me to steep loose tea leaves without any mess. However, I found that the handle and spout could be more ergonomically designed. Pouring can sometimes be a bit awkward, and the handle gets quite hot, so I have to use a towel or oven mitt. The worse part is that it doesnt have a whistle, so if you are like me and step away from your kettle to do other things while boiling water. BE WARNED this does NOT whistle.Size and Capacity: The teapot's size is suitable for serving tea for two people, but if you're hosting a larger gathering, it might not be the best choice. I wish it came in different size options. Also, the infuser basket could be a bit larger to allow for more tea leaves or herbs if you prefer a stronger brew.In summary, the Frieling 18/8 Stainless Steel Teapot with Infuser is a durable option for those who prioritize sturdiness and minimalistic design. However, its handling could be improved for better comfort, and a bit more versatility in terms of size and infuser capacity would be appreciated. While it's a decent teapot, I can't say it's the best one I've ever used.

Really a great teapot, built to last!
Really a great teapot, I'm no tea expert, but for my loose leaf tea it does the job!The metal it's made of seems sturdy. The tea infuser is pretty long, so it allows a good diffusion of the tea.You can make easily 4-5 cups of tea with this teapot. There's no rubber grips - for some people that could be a disadvantage, because it'll make some parts, like the top cover, pretty hot to grip - for me though it's an advantage, because rubber parts on a steel object are prone to fall off, and I like my stuff to last!
