The author has lots of great techniques for making all kinds of "faux" painting.I have always relied on BH&G for the "finishing touch" to make things "wow" - whether it is color combinations for contrast or how to give an internal wall your own personal touch, this book tells you how to do it!I did some sponge painting to a wall so that I could convey the "autumn colors" to any on-looker. Sort of like "Autumn In New York" type of thing.I thought it was quite good until my wife mentioned that we live in Florida.

A good book with lots of pictures along with adequate descriptions. We've used it twice already for decorative ideas, and I'm very happy with the purchase.

THe book was delivered on time and the content is what it was expected. We did use it to familiarize ourselves with diffent type of paint that we used on projects around the house.

Good method to follow all the techniques described. Useful as a guide to teach as well. Well explained along the pictures.

I learned a lot about different kinds of painting finishes, very good learning tool, well worth the time and $$,

The illustrations are very good . I think it's simple to follow and good for the beginner.
