I bought this skillet to replace our old one that was probably literally from the 70's. Every time I washed it and needed to scrub it (nearly every time since it didn't have a non-stick surface) the run off would be tinged a dark grey. I'm thinking it's a layer of metal and that can't be too good for me.This skillet has been a really good replacement and I love it. I have a family of five to cook for and rather than heating up the whole house I use smaller appliances. The skillet is a good size for the larger dishes I need to cook and I appreciate the sturdy double handles that don't get hot during cooking. It's look is quite modern in a retro kind of way and combined with the glass lid it will look nice as a serving dish on the table as well. The price made it a no brainer to at least try it out.First thing I made was chicken stir fry. The warm up was quick and the heat was even, I didn't need to move the chicken around to different areas to make sure it was all cooked well. The veggies moved around like butter. I love the keep it warm temperature setting since stir fry can get cold quickly. My kids fed themselves in shifts like they do so often in the summer making me a happy momma.The clean up was easy. I usually prefer all of my pots and pans be dishwasher safe (I'm a busy mom who doesn't want to do a lot of hand washing) however I decided it might be ok this time since it was non-stick. And I was right! The ceramic non-stick coating meant the gristle from the chicken cleaned up quick and easy. Nothing stuck to the pan, no Brillo pads needed. From start to finish dinner was quick and good which is exactly what I need.While I really like the two big handles they can get splattered by the food and be a little messy to handle, really only an issue if you are using on the table for serving so it is a very small con. I will update later if I change my mind otherwise this was a very good and useful purchase for me. Tonight I will use it to make skillet lemon dill chicken thighs - yum! Will update if it ends up being a bummer of a purchase a little down the road.

I use this rather for when I make multiply meals. Being a single person have small frypan for most meal but ocassionally I need a larger pan. It works real well. The size is 12x12x2.25 which is perfect for a lb of sausage or a package of chicken thighs. The lid is see thru but doesn’t feel like glass. It cleans like a dream. And for me it works great.My only wish was the temp dial would show temps less than 300. The lowest temp say warm but it still cooks so you have to watch what you are doing.For all practical purposes it is a great pan and priced great as well

My mom used an electric skillet when I was a little girl. And she would say it made lfe easier to cook. I came across this and it made me think of her. And yes cooking with this makes life easier. Easy to cook, easy to clean...just easy. Major recommendation for this skillet. And I'm 67 now and no need to cook big meals with 3 or more pots and pans and to families who are in a hurry one dish 'dump' meals just makes life easier.Heats quickly, non stick, food cooks nicely, cleans up fast and a very good size to cook almost any amount and durable enough to cook most meals

This electric skillet Works perfectly! It heats up quick and Cooks to perfection. I've had it a few months now and I use it everyday, that being said I am concerned that it won't last long. I've noticed the burner has now burned through and you can see the indention, in the skillet, makes me concerned about wear and tear. Other than that the other quality issue is the handle on the lid has always been loose it will not tighten, it does not seem to fit right with the hole on the glass lid. It is very easy to clean, no other issues! I recommend it but I hope it lasts longer than a year.

I burnt the first meal I cooked in this. The pan came totally clean with the first wash and there was no staining. The heat control is hard to see under a handle.

I bought it for frying pan cakes. I started using it right after receiving. It works as expected with the temperature controlled device. No more burnt frying pan cake. Plus this pan is easy to clean, light to handle. So far I love it.

Great skillet. Deep enough to do large meal but still on the smaller side. Heats up quickly. Happy with this purchase.

I was so bummed when my 1980’s second hand skillet finally broke but then I found this and I smile again. Sturdy quality. Multiple temperature ranges. I love the copper color. The nonstick surface is very easy to clean. My old one was longer, I can only cook 3/4 pack of bacon at a time on this one, poor off the grease and immediately cook the eggs. I bought one for home and one for the RV. I use the one in the RV every single time we go camping because bacon is king.

A perfect replacement for a 12" electric skillet with a failing teflon coating. Robust, easy to wash, even heating.

Totally submersible to clean. Hard to find electric fry pan that is. Temperature settings are accurate for cooking. Need minimal oil to fry cutlets etc. Made excellent risotto using this pan. Love it.
