Ordered these as a gift for my husband who does 'stick dressing '. He is very impressed with these tools. Very user friendly. Does exactly what he wants. They came ready sharpened so were ready to use. He already had a different set of Narex tools and has been using them for 5 years so when he wanted to add to his collection this was the brand he went for and is very happy he did.

I like the Narex stuff but you will need to put abit of work into the tools to make them work properly. I personally feel this is a good thing as it gives a new carver plenty of practice sharping knives. It has really helped me move forward having to learn to get a nice sharp blade. To be honest they don’t come very sharp out the box but even a quick blast with the strop they are usable but if you put the time in they become a very nice set.

A brilliant little set. Good for small to mid size projects.they hone well but are ready to use straight out of the box. If you take care of them properly you can make some nice pieces.

I paid an extra £2 for this instead of to a smaller company as the box looked more appealing as a gift. Not the same box as in description.

Good delivery. Tools well presented. Sharp and ready for use.All in all a good purchase. A good manufacturing process. Should lasty a long time. pleased I bought them.

Not having used these sorts of chisels before, I was pleased with their quality. Re-carving a go faster arrow on my 125 yrs old boat’s sheerstrake was a doddle.

The cutting edge on one chisel failed after about 10 minutes use.
