I got the Mollie Waist Holster Smartphone Military Pouch because if I put my smartphone in any of my pants pockets it gets in the way when I sit down. I have a small sling backpack that I can attach the pouch to, and then I can put my phone in the pouch. It all works great! I haven't tried it on my belt as of yet, but it seems that the pouch may be too floppy. Attaching the pouch to my backpack so far works the best for me.

If your Halloween costume doesn't have functional pockets, this is an excellent option! That was mainly why I got it. Also would be good for hikes, too, although I haven't used it for a hike yet, but it should be sturdy enough to allow for a quick access hanging belt option.

I got this for hunting and hiking, but especially hunting. I wear a Molle vest and want the phone easy to access but easy to securely stow when climbing, hiking and packing gear. The case is easy to use quietly and the phone has decent retention with just the flap. Click the buckle and it is very secure. I have a Samsung S9+ in a wraparound case and it fits easily. The heavy material should provide good protection. This can easily attach to a belt or strap so any season gear arrangement I have, this case can adapt. It is quite large and when I wear it over my left breast, I'm surprised how much space the phone takes.

We ordered one last year and my husband was very happy with it. He works on roofs and it had held up with no complaints. However, we ordered a second one, because he left the first one behind when traveling. The second one broke after 40 days.

Use this pouch when traveling to record from my cell. I tuck the ovelap inside and my camera from my phone sticks out enough to clear the camera lens after I stuffed some material on the inside bottom. With my phone connected to my smart watch, I can turn on the recording and capture great moments with out looking like an Instagramer.
