Great for teenage youth
I am currently the youth director for my church youth group. This first couple of years, I went over things that I thought teenagers cared about or had concerns about. After doing research, I found this devotional and I love it. The students are given a devotional schedule and we go over anything that they read that week that they found or had interest in. The topics in it, though sometimes are about going to college or finishing high school, could be used by people of any age. It focuses on building relationships with Christ and how to understand the bible in every day life. My youth members always say that making time to read the bible was difficult in their busy life, but reading this devotional and spending a few minutes with God was easy.

really nice
My husband reads this with our 11/14/16 year olds most nights. It's the best we've found to fit this age range, be family oriented and just 5-10 minutes. You can just read through it quick, or spend time discussing. A nice find.

Perfect!
I love being able to read this in a just a couple minutes every morning and how it gets me thinking about what I read throughout the day.

Better than I thought, A LOT Better!
We are using this in our youth group and discussing the weekly reading in class to share with each other. Though I hate the idea of cherry picking small pieces of the Bible for daily reading they have created a book where you are able to really think and reflect on a small portion and give suggestions on how to adapt it to our lives with God Talk ideas and Little Extra (things to do during the day). I would highly recommend it to anyone even adults. My 8 year old son is reading it and we are discussing the things he underlines.

I'm a youth minister and for the last 2 years this has been the gift we give to our Confirmation students. I struggle to find good devotion books because they oftendo a poor job with communicating who God is, they're cliche or they come down super heavy-handed with the Law. As a Lutheran, I'm big into the balance of God's Law AND His Grace (Check out Romans and Galatians). This book does a wonderful job of that and it's a great resource to get students into the Word!

Not great. There are better devotionals out there for students
This is okay. Not great. There are better devotionals out there for students, ones that have deeper insights about God and are more adept at inspiring them to love God. I like The Jesus Centered Life and Teens Share the MIssion better.

Youth Group Students Love It!
I was looking for a devotional tool to assist our students in reading the Bible and providing ways for them to think critically or creatively about Scripture. Many of our students have committed to using this resource each morning and have found it to be extremely helpful. It makes sense to them. I would recommend this book for Middle School students.

So good I have bought 3!
Beautiful devotional with all you will ever need to begin your day feeling refreshed and consumed by God's love. This devotional is broken up into four sections: Oneness with God, Sin and Separation, Consequences and Crying Out and God Hears and RestoresEach devotional is one page long, and the four sections are not separated, but are gorgeously applied according to the scripture that is presented that day. While being informative and serious, this devotional is great for adolescents, as it not only provides a guide for speaking to our Heavenly Father but also a little extra each day to truly apply the Word in our daily lives and put our faith into action.Would recommend, and have already bought three of them, 2 as gifts for friends who also love it!

Beautiful Devotional
I bought this to use each morning with my grade 8 students, and it is ideal. Very scripture-based with prompts at the end that they can journal about. Of course the content is what really matters, but it's also a gorgeous book that will look so lovely on my desk :)
