This product came in two boxes, but one package was delivered several days later than the other... Not the fault of the seller, but be aware that you should have two boxes before starting.It was a bit of a puzzle to put together, but I'm a little crazy in that I like putting together furniture... So it was actually quite fun.Like other reviewers have said, be aware that there are two types of hinges! One type has a bend in them, and the other is flat. Also, the cabinet doors will not immediately line up - you will have to adjust them using the screws on the hinges.The set didn't come with enough metal brackets (that go on the back to hold on the back panels) to match the picture, so count and lay those out before nailing them in.Also note that almost no two pieces are quite the same, so you will have to look very carefully at the photos and maybe a few steps ahead to tell which is which. Some you can tell because the unfinished sides end up covered or in the back.It looks great and feels sturdy! Very happy with it so far.

I have put together a lot of furniture in my day, and this cabinet is without a doubt. The. Worst. Thing I have ever worked on. Everything from the cheap materials to the confusing labeling to the haphazard instructions, this cabinet is the platonic ideal of cheap garbage.The hardware is packaged with no rhyme or reason, with random screws, braces thrown into separate bags regardless of type or which step they are used in. I spent longer sorting hardware than I did putting the cabinet together. The bags are labeled in Portuguese. They are not labeled, however, with the letter that is used in the instructions to denote each screw and part (Screw "A" in the instructions diagram vs "4662" on the package .)Half of the holes you need aren't drilled, so you have to drill them yourself and hope that the cheap pressed wood doesn't split. As an example of the bizarre and terrible construction, the walls on the bottom are held together with two different types of support - one side with six screws and three thick plastic support braces, and the other side with three cheap aluminum braces that immediately bent in half when I tried to turn the base over. I had to add extra screws of my own to keep it from snapping off. The inner walls of the cabinet itself aren't even screwed in, they're held in place with wooden pegs.I finished assembling this cabinet out of spite. Choose another cabinet for your storage needs.

I was super excited when I came across it on amazon because it very much aligned with what I was searching for. Although very concerned about the difficulty of the assembling process from reading the reviews, I took a chance on it because it looks so beautiful. The delivery was great. Delivery person handled my packages well so there was no damage. This item comes in two boxes/deliveries. I’m glad I received both on the same day. As for the assembly process, already aware of the difficulty, I used both the YouTube video tutorial and the manual to guide me. I also previewed the instructions before I actually building. The parts are not labeled so I recommend paying close attention to the instruction images and the distinct features of each part such as premade holes etc for accuracy. There were a few sections where I had to create holes myself because it wasn’t already premade. It took me about 4 hours to put this together. I did have help and have plenty of experiences putting together IKEA furniture and still think this was one of the most challenging assemblies. However, the result was so worth it. It looks absolutely beautiful and meets the purpose I purchased it for. Overall, challenging build and challenging to align the doors, but if you have the patience, attention to detail, and willingness, the finished product is beautiful.

This buffet actually looks better in person. I received this on time with one small issue, the back was missing but the sellers quickly rectified the issue by sending me the part. It is a little tricky to put together and having 2 people definitely makes it easier. It took about an hour with 2 people. The doors are the trickiest part as the hinges need specific placement. The doors will not line up if you don't place the hinges properly by putting like hinges on the outer and again on the inner. We found the hinge with the stamp that is more square goes on the outside doors. Hope this helps:) I would definitely recommend this buffet as it is sturdy and easy to clean as well as being a very nice piece of furniture especially for the price!

As others would attest to, it does take a couple of hours to put together but I knew that ahead of time and I am quite used to putting furniture together so that was not a problem. But one main problem is with the picture of the dimensions on this site showed the shelf heights as being 12.01 inches. That is not true. The height of the bottom shelf is just under 12 inches and the height of the top shelf is 9 3/8 inches although it becomes higher just after the frame. Now this is important to me because I was using this sideboard in my home theater room to store my DVDs and I had purchased the Artisan DVD album which is 12 inches tall and has a rigid frame. I did not realize that until the cabinet was finished. Luckily, I was able to fit the album sideways at that solved my problem albeit a less optimal solution and why I gave it 3 stars. As for the appearance, I love the look. It has a high gloss finished and fit well with my white pilasters and trim. One final note and this will save you hours of troubleshooting, take careful note of the hinges. There are actually two types of hinges, one type for the outside doors and one type for the inside doors. It is hard to tell by the picture the hinge style, but if you get it wrong you'll drive yourself crazy as to why you cannot align the doors. Once I figured out what was wrong, the doors lined up fairly quickly.

It is beautiful and of good quality. The only defect I find is that the assembly instructions are not correct.In addition, there are pieces that should have the holes marked so that assembly is easierbut once assembled it is beautiful and elegant

They shipped quickly and came packaged well so there was no damage to any pieces. The instructions resembled IKEA except the steps were on a larger scale, and the pictures were smaller. This lead to some serious swearing and some confusion. I found i had to stop and stare a few times to make i had proper orientation. The wood quality is superior to ikea though. I ended up buying 2 so after cursing out the first one, the second came together like a dream. If the instructions were cleaned up a bit i would score them higher. They are nice looking units.
