I liked using this as I often use butter in cooking. It made it easy to measure out amounts and add them to saute pans or recipes. I was always careful to let the butter warm up a bit as this made it easier to slice. Unfortunately as careful as I was it only lasted about 5 months. As much as I liked using it - I will not buy another as it is made so poorly that I would only end up breaking another one. Where does it break? It breaks were the wire is held in place and its not able to be glued or fixed.

I use unsalted butter in a lot of my cooking. This helps me portion out what I need instead of estimating and using too much. It also helps keep the butter from just sitting in the fridge uncovered.

Mine broke after a week.
