I’ve not had a chance to use outdoors yet, but I have used it for projects around the house! The padding is soft foam- so that is very different than others I’ve tried, that have very hard compact foam. Strong construction and easy to fold up when not using. My first one got lost in shipment, but I contacted Amazon and they sent out another one right away with directions to mail back the other if it does arrive. I’m very happy and would recommend it!

Don't go cheap when buying these gardening benches.Sure, $30 looks appealing, but you get what you pay for.This is worth every penny.The cushion is actually serious padding and can be removed for easy cleaning.The frame is super sturdy and I can tell that with care, this will last a long time.The extra pouches come with a belt so if they arent hanging on the bench, you can wear them as a belt.Multiple prodcuts in one buy.I would gladly purchase this again, should I ever need to. Would HIGHLY recommend to anyone debating a cheaper version.This is worth every penny! You knees, back, and butt will thank you.

I ordered this because my stiff knees make it hard to get up from the floor. I am scheduled for cataract surgery and was told "no bending over from the waist" for two weeks after the surgery. I will need to get down on my knees in order to reach the floor to feed pets and pick up dropped items. This garden kneeler makes it easy to get back up! I look forward to using it when I garden outdoors, but for now, it's a big help in the house.

I’ve used mine a half dozen times per year for about 5 years. Relatively easy to fold, compact to store, comfortable for sitting or kneeling, helps a lot getting up from kneeling position, light enough to easily carry around the yard. Only drawbacks I’ve found are that the squeeze release mechanism can be tricky if you’re putting any pressure on the leg you’re trying to close, and the paint on the outer edges of the steel legs rubs off easily on hard surfaces like sidewalk or gravel paths, and the steel beneath that paint rusts quickly and deeply once started. I’d only use it on soft surfaces like lawn if you want more than a few dozen usages, or do some preemptive paint restoration as you go along before the rust sets in. Or perhaps wrap with heavy duty duct tape?

The padding is thick and comfortable. Works well as a kneeler and seat.

It has been a full year since I bought this. I am in my early 50s, have arthritis in my feet, ankles, knees and hips. This little bench has allowed me to be active in my garden and yard work. I use it in the house for projects that are lower to the ground like my kitchen cabinets. It is great as a kneeler and as a bench. I am very happy with this purchase. Light weight, easy to open and close. Small to store in any room. Highly recommend this bench.

I like this garden seat....nice thick and also removable pad which can be used more ways...also the side bags to hold tools are well made and like the way one is versatile enough to wear as a belt. I need something to help me sit by a garden bed and toget up off the ground using the handles (I am not young anymore). As for my weight...seems sturdy gor 160 pounds so can't say for a heavier person. It was more pricey than most but I am happy with my choice.

This seat is great. It's a great assist for older people or those with a mobility/back issue to getting up from a sitting/kneeling position and then flipped over it's great as a seat.This was a gift to a friend who saw mine and knew how much I use it.Highly recommended.

I purchased the product to enable me to get up when kneeling around the apartment. Flipping it over you get a seat that seems to be the right height for a number of things that I do around the place daily. It appears to be well made and very sturdy. The side pockets are very helpful for tools when doing odd jobs and very easy store which takes up very little space. Very satisfied with my purchase.
