The silk feels thin and cheap. I attached a picture of the seam of the one I opened. I am returning and will purchase from another brand. I think anyone who purchases something that is 100% silk expects good quality so I was disappointed with these. These seem like they would be tearing apart within a couple months... Otherwise the colors were alright... I received this light blue patterned one, a light pink, light green, white, and brown. They came in a brown silk bag.

I got these about a year ago, then bought another pack because they are a game changer. I have THICK curly hair, and follow the Curly Girl Method, so wanted to switch my normal hair elastics for silk, as they are better for the health of your hair. These are truly awesome! I use them for every hair style, sleep with them in my hair, and use them while I exercise, and they don't go anywhere. They don't leave bends in my hair, and don't pull or rip. After using them daily for over a year, I threw them in the wash and dryer, and they went back to new! They were a bit stretched out, but after I washed them, they were just like they came straight out of the package. They are so awesome- if you are thinking about getting them, do! You will NOT regret it!

My daughters very fine hair needs more gentle ties to put in her hair. We have had polyester satin before and they are just okay. Sadly I don't think these are really 100% silk. When I put them in my hands to feel them and to put her my daughter's hair in a ponytail little pieces of fabric kept catching on my fingertips. This is very common with anything polyester, whether it's very nice smooth knit or if it's the fuzzy type. We will keep these cuz they were good price but really would wish to find out if they were some type of not well done silk or if they were truly polyester. Disappointed but nowadays anything can be labeled as another item but never truly be.

Excellent Quality! Colors were neutral with one exception. Just what I was looking for to sleep in. Much more reasonably priced than comparable branded product. Same high end silk used.

I love silk products. I use silk pillowcases. I wear silk shirts when they go on sale. I thought that these silk scrunchies would be gentle on my hair as silk products are usually always gentle. However, these proved my assumption wrong. The elastic inside the scrunchies is so tight and taut that describe the wonderful silk covering, they still pull my hair out which was the sole reason that I purchased these. I am very very disappointed. I also was unhappy with the color choices that they made for me. I had hoped for some purple scrunchies, but didn't get any. Instead I got some that were not my taste. Silk scrunchies should be gentle on your hair. These simply were not. I would return them if I had not used one. So these were a complete waste of money.

I love these scrunchies! They feel more expensive than they are. The elastic in them is thick and strong and they hold my hair nice and tight with no bumps! They also came in this beautiful green silk bag. Not sure if anything is real silk, but they do seem to be genuine. I also love every color I received. 5 stars all around! 😍

Real silk scrunchies for a great price. I sew and I've used silk many times--these are silk. Aside from just knowing the texture of real silk, there are a few tests you can do. One test (although admittedly not a 100% foolproof one) is pulling the fabric across your upper lip--any snagging or catching usually means synthetic, smooth means silk. These are silk. I have not had any problems with seams coming undone. The elastic inside the fabric seems to be a standard "ouchless" ponytail holder. I have somewhat thin hair and I braid my hair at night to protect my curls. I can twist a scrunchie 2 times around the bottom of my braid and it will stay. If I wrap it 3 times then it is quite tight. If your hair is much thicker than mine then you might be frustrated with the sizing.

My silk scrunchies arrived in this beautiful grey silk bag, and looked beautiful. I do wish I had gotten a gold one instead of brown, but I did choose "Random Colors," so I can't blame the company. They are very beautiful, and will not slide, even when kept in for multiple hours. I always wear mine at the end of a single braid while asleep, and they haven't slipped off once! My hair is not very forgiving with scrunchies that easily slide, and these have passed the test. From my experience, they're also machine washable. I put mine in a small mesh bag on delicate with cold water, and they did great. No tears, tangling, or shrinking! In conclusion, not only are these silk scrunchies beautiful, they are also quite durable and well packaged, and all in all worth the money.
