This toy is very durable. This was for my grandson who is two and a half years old. He loves construction trucks and went crazy when he saw all the different trucks that were in this toy. He has not stopped playing with all the trucks and the storage transport vehicle. The only problem was the latches that hold the side covers that keep the trucks in place tends to not stay in place and case pops open. A rubber band helped solve this problem. Overall a good buy for the price. It goes with him everywhere.

I purchased this for my son who was turning 3.He is obsessed with construction vehicles and excavators (thanks to Blippi). I wasn't sure if it would last, but I thought it was perfect for a birthday gift and it was. After weeks of nearly constant play, I am happy to report that not one piece has broken or been lost. I could not be more pleased with this. The extra storage in the front and on top of the cab of the big semi-truck is great. I was really surprised how durable it has been even the small plastic parts. This makes a great gift. If you have a little one who is obsessed with construction stuff then they will be amazed with this set and I'm sure they will get tons of play with the excavator and the dump truck alone. I love that it all fits right back into the big truck. And I was really surprised how durable the small vehicles are even with so many moving pieces. This whole toy is a great value and is more durable than you might expect.

I purchased this for my 2 year old son who is nuts about cars/trucks/anything with wheels. It came quickly and had all the parts promised. The little cars inside are cute and it functions as promised. The box serves as a carrying case which I thought was a great idea. The top of the truck also opens up to serve as a handle and you can carry it vertically. Be careful with this. I made this mistake when he wanted to take it to his sitters house. As I loaded him in the car I was holding it vertical by the handle and it detached sending the truck to the ground. The compartments opened and 10 little cars were then scattered under my car. When you look the handle is not seated well enough to carry it like this. Since then we use the box for carrying, it had a handle on top and it closes to prevent it from falling out. Despite this overall I'm very happy with the purchase and my son loves everything about it. It would certainly make a great gift for a kid who loves cars and I think the value is excellent. Looking forward to purchasing the other versions for him.

My six year old received the military set from me for Christmas. It is the toy of the year! He didn’t even ask for it. He got everything under the sun and this was all he wanted to play with the entire day of Christmas. It is well made and cars, trucks and aircraft are made tough. There are so many components to the main vehicle that he gets to store, hide, move, drive, hide and rearrange stuff constantly. My son will be 7 in two months and it will be a hit for a long time.

My 2 year old, construction-obsessed grandsons are enthralled by this. They love loading up the truck; it's kind of like a puzzle to fit all the little vehicles in. The sides lock so they can carry it all with them. It's intricate and realistic enough to hold their interest, yet simple to use. It looks sturdy and well-made but everything is plastic so not sure about durability in the long run. For right now, though, it's perfect.

Great set of vehicles. Yes, they will break. But anything in this price range will break. What sets these apart from others is how long they will last before they break.I would buy again as a gift. Ours are lasting very long, except for the single vehicle that has sacrificed itself for learning purposes related to durability.

We bought this for our 3 year old son who loves construction vehicles. So much that I’ve spent most school days driving him around hunting for construction sites so we can have snack and watch them work....We thought this set would be a super cute “treasure box” that he could earn one truck each week (or after doing chores/helping around the house).Not exaggerating, 5 minutes after getting the steam roller, the roller popped apart and he brought it back to me tearfully. I was able to pop the roller back together and he went back to playing. It has popped apart a few times since, and I may hot glue it together and see if that fixes it.The excavator-his absolute favorite-will not stay together at all. Simply playing with the arm trying to get it to “dig” popsThe arm off and he’s literally bringing it to me every 10 minutes to fix. It pops back in easily, but has loosened up quite a bit and looks like it will eventually give way and not work at all.He hasn’t earned the rest yet, so I’m not sure how the rest of the vehicles will fare. But based on the 1st 2....I don’t have high hopes, and I’m already shopping around for better quality construction vehicles for him to play with.The body of the 2 vehicles are metal, but the attaching parts are plastic. With minor adjustments I feel like this could be a great product, but as is, probably should be a decoration and not a play toy....
