This was great!
I recently had a canvas painting that I had hung with some wire I had laying around. The wire broke and the canvas fell. This thing is heavy but I had twisted the wire together with 5 strands. I ordered this product in hopes that it would be strong enough to hold this painting. When it got here I didn't have any wire cutters so I tried to cut the wire with a knife. It was like the dang thing was indestructible. Grabbed some scissors and tried to cut it and the scissors came apart. Went out and bought some wire cutters the next day and squeezed and squeezed and it took a while to get through the wire but finally got it cut and hung the picture. Pretty positive it won't break. I do kind worry that as tough as the wire is that it might wear through the screw heads though. All in all a great product for a great value.

Great addition to an old house with plate rails and an embossed wall covering.
The product works very well, almost invisible on the wall .Use a decent cutting tool to sever the length you need from the spool, I had to get a good diagonal pliers rather than use the needle nose pliers cutting surfaces to prevent crushing and splaying out of the strands, to avoid a problem when placing the wire into the crimping loop sleeve.Make sure you thoroughly crimp the crimping loop sleeve, I used a needle nose as directed but one did not fully grip. Easily corrected when inspected prior to placing art work suspended from the picture rail. This was a great solution to a embossed wall covering dilemma. Any wall covering penetration would be very visible when changing pictures.

Nice and clean with crimps, but very difficult to tie
I got this a while back and have been trying to tie it by hand. It's a pain, but if you buy crimps and make sure they're crimped down tight, this is nice stuff. fyi 1/16" Aluminum Crimping Loop Sleeves fit this wire perfectly. A normal wire stripper is fine to crimp them for me, but you may want something more specific for the job if you're doing a lot of them.

Nice wire, did not receive aluminum crimping sleeves
I did not receive the aluminum crimping sleeves . I prefer heavier wire because it is easier to use, but my fault. Good for price. Just need crimping sleeves.

Strong and sturdy hanging solution
I was looking for a sturdy hanging solution that would minimize the number of holes I put in the walls. I came across this wire and decided to give it a try. The vinyl coating makes a huge difference, it doesn’t scratch or damage paint on the wall because it’s soft to the touch. It’s strong enough to hang heavy mirror and large canvases. It also looks like it won’t unwind on itself like other wires do because it has the coating. I was able to hang 3 mirrors and a canvas quickly due to being able to attach the wire to the thing I hung up and it was even faster since I only need one nail per item I was hanging.

The most professional look for your hanging art pieces!
I love so much about this product: vinyl covered wire won't cut you, the clips are easy to attach with pliers, and the look is very professional and clean.Watchouts:1. When cutting the wire, be sure to use sharp, wire-cutting pliers. If not, it will be impossible to thread the cut end through the attaching clips.2. Use strong pliers to crimp the clips. If you don't get the right pressure, your crimp will be weak and you'll risk the wire letting go in the future.Again, it's an amazing product if you frame an art piece for hanging on a wall. I'll buy it again.

Good quality stainless rope
The rope and crimps have been used to hang a very heavy painting-on-board from a wall--in fact, the painting is so heavy, that it required two men to lift it.The wire rope is plastic coated and does not fray when cut with sharp tools. The crimps supplied with the rope are the correct size for the rope and were easy to crimp with the right crimping tool.

Ammmm can I use this as garden trimmer line
I bought this to use it for something that is not designed for. My garden trimmer kept annoying me as the line keep cutting frequently, so I thought may be a steel cable withstand hard object in the garden. The cable fitted the trimmer spool very well. Use wire cutter to cut to length and start action. It lasted longer than the plastic line, however it is also kept fraying and cutting out.If you are using this to hang picture you should be ok , it is sturdy and has a plastic film around it.If you are using it as I did you do this at your own risk as it has the potential to cause you serious injury.
