Bestop 5125501 Seat Slider for 1976-1995 CJ7 & Wrangler

This was missing one piece of hardware a nut to attach it to the seat frame, but other than that it works great.

I purchased this for my 1971 Jeep CJ5. I just bought the car and I'm too short to reach the pedals. Can't comment on fitment regarding stock seats, but my unknown brand aftermarket seats lined up PERFECT with the slider. My aftermarket bases needed to be drilled to fit but even with that reusing rusty hardware we had the seats installed in an hour. 10/10 would buy again

Easy to swap out the old for the new, took about 10-15 minutes to swap out. My old slider would not stay in place, as you accelerated the seat would slide back. These work great, slide easy and easy to adjust.

It nice to have the ability to move the seat to allow for a little more leg room in the back and better control of the pedals.

I like the product I just wish they would say that you need to drill another set of holes for either the front left and right or rear, depending on how you position the brackets. Once you've done that you are golden. I was not impressed with the lock nuts, I am afraid to tighten too much in fear that I may snap off the threaded studs. Seems like the just keep on turning and never reach a stopping point.

I purchased this for my 1993 Jeep Wrangler YJ. The seats are original.The problem with this slider, it’s not made for my Jeep. The brackets are too short and also aren’t wide enough. I had to customize to fit. The brackets will not reach the factory holes. What should have taken ten minutes to install took me over an hour. I had to drill holes and do some bending to make it fit.I gave it two stars because it’s well made. As far as the fit, it’s horrible. They need to be more honest with the description. Especially for the cost.

Will fit 44801 SMITTYBILT Low-Back Bucket Seat (similar to the TrailMax II Classic). Of course, this is just the slider. I had a job on my hands fitting it to the seat bracket, which wasn't stock. My CJ5 had been outfitted with seats from a late 90s model pickup truck, which are wider than the Smittybilt seats...so I had to do a bit of fabrication.But, these Bestop sliders do fit the Smittybilt low back bucket seats. Who knows...maybe it's the same factory in China that makes the Bestop, Smittybilt, Rugged Ridge, etc, low back bucket seats and they just get brand slapped after...

This slider does work but be aware the grab in straight which allows little room to free the holding pins. It should have been made with the grab end at a 15 degree pitch to allow room to really disengage the holding pins.
