So good, you’ll want to use it again
The media could not be loaded. I am beyond happy. I was knocking the u-joints out with the C clamp style press, using a torch and hammering away to get original u-joints out of 04 Chevy 2500. It took me near half the day for one drive shaft. With the power of this tool. It took me 10 minutes to get both u joints out of the yoke and drive shaft. I was so happy I nearly knocked over the wife rushing inside to tell her. (She doesn’t care btw) but still have to show off my victory!

Broke after 5 uses
The casting broke after 5 uses. Not even enough to pay for itself.

Like all tools it has its limits.
Like all tools they have there limits. I bought this to remove a 27 year old u-joint from under a truck due to not being able to remove the axle. It did the job and being able to remove this one u-joint was worth the price alone. I also removed the other u-joint from the axle that was off the truck. On the final and third u-joint the legs started to bend and stayed bent. I don't blame the tool due to the cap of the u-joint being stuck in the yoke so bad that it needed a torch to get it out. I would definitely by it again but if you use it keep a eye on it while using a torque wrench with it so you can stop it before damaging it.

A must have for doing drive shafts
I absolutely love this tool. It makes it so much fast and easier to do drive shafts now. Used it multiple times and have even let buddies borrow it and they ordered one after they used mine. 10/10 recommended

Poor quality
Purchased and used it once as soon as I got it. Rode in the tool box till now and used it for the 2nd time and it pulled the threaded rod out.

Worked on 30 year old rusted u joints
Worked well on 30 year old rusted u joints. As another reviewer mentioned, tighten it down with an impact or rachet and if it feels like it's bottoming out (or the impact stops turning) take a mini sledge and whack the shoulder of your driveshaft yolk a few times and the cap should work itself forward. Just be careful as the tool will usually fall off when you do this from the relieved pressure so make sure you won't drop it on anything important.Fail to do this and you'll most likely make the u joint punch a hole through it's own cap and deal with tapping that out with a socket and heat. After reading that review all of the others came free with tension and tapping with a hammer much easier

Arrived packed well, and in good condition.
I hope to not use this tool. However, I do own a 2500 Ram with +100k on the odo. The vehicle has 10 u-joints with 40 bearings. Time will tell if this tool is worth the investment.11/6/22 It didn't take long for the first u-joint to go bad. It was one of the worst, RH front knuckle. The tool would not move the u-joint without the addition of heat. The tool did work well to center the new u-joint after clip installation. It's a good tool, but you still have to use your mechanics cap.

Great U joint puller
Great item, removed U joint on a 2001 GMC Yukon.Soaked the U joint with penetrating oil the night before. Used a little bit of heat and then the puller. Worked like a charm, U joint was out in 2min.

Every mechanic needs one
Only used the product once so far, but it seems ideal. The first one i ordered was lost in transit, but a replacement arrived promptly, at no additional cost.

Found the weak point
Item is good if your on the ears of the ujoint not on the yoke of a driveshaft or axle as it tends to slip outItem broke after a couple uses. Works great on ujoints that are not locked in place due to lack of serviceIf the item didn’t break, would have given 5-stars as it is a great little tool without having to break out the press or balljoint tool

Junk
Junk. Will not work on ram 3500. It broke halfway thru trying to push the u joints out. Bent legs. Broke pieces off the cup, slips off the yoke repeatedly. Overpriced junk
