We were looking for scounces to add to our wall behind our couch. We just painted as we'll be getting a new carmel colored leather couch. We found these and knew they would add just the right touch.They are very easy to assemble & hang. We chose command velcro strips so it will be easy to change batteries & won't cause damage to the wall when we put them up.They do not come with batteries & they each use 6 AA batteries.They look classy, as if made of glass, and when they're lit, they look amazing! I love that they have an automatic 4 hour timer, so they turn off after 4 hours. They also come on automatically every 24 hours, so you can choose to turn them off. It's easy to turn off, without taking them down,as you reach up, through the bottom, and push a button.The price is right if your looking for adding a little ambience to your room and don't want to spend a fortune. Now all we need is our new couch.

These are brilliant!!!!I own an RV and was looking for some great mood lighting that would be battery operated.These lights are great. I own three now.They are plastic so super lightweight which I needed. However, they don't LOOK cheap.They hang nicely on the wall and give off a very nice soft light and glow. They were easy to install with one screw and I added some extra command strips on the back to make sure it holds well when bouncing down the road.I boondocked for two weeks already and am in mid-process of my third week and batteries are holding up great on the first set!!!! And I used them every night from dusk till about 11pm. I highly recommend it for campers!!!

This is essentially a night light. It is attractive and I like that it runs on batteries, however, I have night lights that plug into an outlet and they are just as powerful if not more powerful. I expected more light from this. I wasn't expecting a lamp and knew this would be soft light, which is what I wanted, but I also wanted more than a night light.

I taped tissue paper on the back of mine to change the color. Will be fun for holidays. Not the best, but they are a great theater lighting alternative to the tacky LED strips. I have fibromyalgia and it makes me sensitive to bright white LED lights. The tissue warms it up a bit and now they are perfect Was able to hand on a push-pin tack!

Despite it made of plastic, this lamp looks like it might be glass. I prefer the setting that it turns on and off 24 hours after you set it, that way it's on and there's no searching for the power switch. Very lightweight as I've used a 3M Command Hook so not to damage or drill into the wall. The amount of light is good for the area that was needed which is the end of a stairwell where there's a 90 degree turn. I was looking for a lamp with motion detection however, decided on this and pleased so far. Several people have complimented on how nice it looks. No issues with the the battery life, although I've only had it for about a month.

The media could not be loaded. I ordered two of these lights and they arrived with basically no packaging to protect them. It was a miracle they weren't broken. They looked nice enough even though they felt very cheap. I put in the 6 AA batteries and hung them up on the wall and turned them on. They looked nice, not a lot of light but still nice looking. After we woke up in the morning the lights were off as to be expected since they turn off automatically after 4 hours. I tried to turn them back on but the light would not stay on. Both lights acted the exact same way. I had to remove the batteries to get it to stay on again. After calling customer support they sent me two replacement lights. I didn't have much faith in them working but figured might as well give it a shot as we didn't want to have to wire lights in the wall. The replacements arrived in the same terrible packaging and I decided to only open one of them. If the random one I opened acts the same then clearly that's just how these lights are and are basically useless. So I opened one of the new ones and of course the plastic diffuser piece was broken because no protection at all in the packaging. Put the batteries in and turned it on. I waited until the next day when the light had turned itself off and guess what? Light doesn't stay on. These lights will only be useful to you if you plan on never letting them turn themselves off. Also, good luck not getting a broken one.

I wish I could give this product five stars, as the Exciting Lighting sconces are unique in that they are decorative sconces that can be mounted without internal wiring. Unfortunately, I have had a very frustrating experience with multiple faulty lighting panels. I purchased my first sconce, inserted fresh AA batteries, and easily mounted it and was very pleased, but within the first 24 hours the lighting wouldn't stay illuminated beyond a few seconds. I contacted Exciting Lighting and they swiftly sent me a replacement lighting panel as a warranty replacement. It arrived and worked fine for a day, and I then experienced the same issue. When I contacted Exciting Lighting this time, I heard nothing back, even after repeated inquiries. After a week, I was left with no choice but to return the product to Amazon for a replacement. And yep, you guessed it, the third sconce worked fine for a short period but now also will not stay illuminated. I've tried different batteries and different brand of batteries, to no avail. I am left wondering if I should abandon this sconce altogether and mount a different decorative piece of wall art, as I have lost hope for this brand.
