STAY CLEAR!!! WORST WINCH ROPE EVER!!! LEFT ME STRANDED FOR 6HRS!!
I decided to wait for 24 hrs to calm down before writing this review. I purchased this Synthetic Winch Rope to replace the one that came with my 4500 lb winch. I have owned and operated winches my whole life, so this epic failure was most definitely NOT OPERATOR ERROR!! The second time I attempted to use my new winch rope, it SNAPPED! Now stranded several miles from the truck, in the middle of the night, in thigh deep mud, we can only winch in 4 ft pulls due to keeping the splice not wrapping on the spool. 6HRS LATER, (3 hrs after it started raining btw) we finally got it back to the truck.Don't fall victim to this poor excuse for a winch rope!! IT WILL LEAVE YOU STRANDED!!! unless you just have a winch for show. I don't want it warrantied, and I don't want a refund! I don't want anything else from this HORRIBLE SELLER!

Forget Braided Cable
I was skeptical a nylon rope would do what a metal cable could. So far this has pulled my Ranger UTV out of a number of situations and is currently working my heavy duty plow. All that and no metal slivers destroying my gloves and fingers.

. Works with my plow
I have a 07 can am outlander max that I use to plow snow. The warn winch came with steel wire rope and it lasted 10 year before iI broke near the hook. I replaced it with 1/4 inch synthetic rope which is easier to handle. The synthetic rope is bigger and I was only able tof get 35 feet on the spoil. The current rope is starting to look old so I order tbe replacement to have ready. Both wire and synthetic rope get the job done and its hard to say which is better.Note. I put loops in the end of the 15 feet that didn't fit on the 4000# winch and keep it in the atv tool kit.UP DATE. Mar 21 still in good shape after another winter of plowing.Put this on my Can Am x3 with a warn 4000k winch. Only put 35' on.

Sailboat lifeline replacement
I used four of these to replace the old stainless steel lifelines on our sailboat. I'm very pleased with the way they turned out. The rope seems to be of decent quality and was easy to work with. One thing I might note and the reason for 4 and not 5 stars is that line splice around the thimble does not have enough line buried nor is the buried end tapered. Those issues would hurt the resulting line strength. In my case I cut off the end and created a new reverse brummel lock splice. I cow hitched this to my bow pulpit. I then cut the line to the proper length and added another brummel lock splice around a thimble to create an attachment point to use a 3mm dyneema line to lash on a quick release shackle. I'm quite pleased and interested to see how long they last.

Not suitable for snow plow
This lasted for about 5 hours of plowing snow. This may be fine for other users, but it does not hold up to the rigors of plowing.

It's working great!
I have a winch on a Side-by-Side that holds a plow in the winter. The old cable had snapped and this was purchased as the replacement. Although, I had to cut the end and re-tape tighter to fit small cavity on the winch, once it was rolled up the rope seems strong and durable. It definitely, handles the plow with no issue.

Only synthetic strands on the outside...?
Seems like it has a synthetic/foil coating on just the outside, and not on the inside strands. I was assuming all stands were synthetic strands. I am using it for a rope modification for climbing sticks for hunting and it seems to work well for that, but we'll see how durable it is for a hunting season. The rope isn't expensive, and could be replaced easily. As with most products, you usually pay for what you get....

Great value!
What can I say; it's a synthetic winch rope. It appears to be well-made, and this was the color I wanted. I do wish that more synthetic rope manufacturers (or sellers) would indicate how their product attaches to the drum. My winches (Champion 4500# units on a Polaris Ranger) use a bolt-to-the-drum style of connection. This rope simply has a cut-off end with some tape wrapped around it. I couldn't attach it like the factory wire rope, but there's instructions on the web on how to tie a standard rope to a winch (can't remember the name of the knot, but you'll also need some double-sided tape to install). Overall, I'm happy with the purchase.

The best yet
Made well, easy to handle, but I have snapped it, in saying that it has out lasted every wire rope I have previously used, I would buy another one,

Impressive Quality
Seems like a good quality synthetic rope for my Warn atv winch. The install was a challenge due to the fact that this synthetic rope has a slightly bigger diameter than the original 1/4” wire cable. It was hard to get the rope through the winches spool. Doable once I taped the rope to make its diameter small enough to push through. Just ended up tying the rope to it’s self once I managed to get it through the spool. Haven’t tested the rope in the real world yet but by its look and feel I think it will perform well.

Awesome little rope for the price and weight.
I bought this 1/4 rope to cut to various length and use it to attach tools, some light material and simply to replace cheap yellow polypropylene rope.It did seem easy to fray as the very small fiber would catch on my fingernails, so I got worried about the quality. After all, this is a NoName UHWME rope and not some Samson Amsteel blue worth 200$ right?Decided to put it to test. We had to pull a full metal structure to shim it because it wasn't fully level, so I took out the rope to see if it would hold the strength of a 1 and 1/2ton puller. I didn't go easy on it and tied it straight around the metal without any protection, knowing well that both the knot and bare metal contact could break the rope. After pulling until the puller mechanism start slipping and releasing by itself and the rope didn't give up. Knowing those puller, giving full 2 arm tension they can pull over 5000 pounds so that's pretty impressive. The rope did fell like a solid block afterwards but twisting it a little gave it back it's original shape.Only downside, which was to be expected: knot did leave some mark on the rope and most likely lost some strength.Overall, a very solid buy.
