Almost perfect...Keeps the bugs off nicely.
This an excellent and economical mosquito net, perfect for covering a bed or a camp cot to keep the flying bugs out. It folds neatly and compactly, and weighs little to nothing, so it'd be perfect for backpacking. Honestly, the only reasons I'm not giving it more stars are two flaws...one, the storage sack closes with velcro...If you've ever tried to manage mosquito netting around velcro, you'll have experienced the problem it poses, namely that it snags the netting every time you turn around! The netting is delicate, so it takes gentle manuevering to pull it off the hooks. Snaps or buttons would better, and I'm considering excercising my sewing skills to add such and remove the blasted velcro. The other reason is the folding instructions are a flimsy little piece of paper...which I lost within 5 minutes of unpacking the net. Print them on the back of the storage sack the same way the brand logo and other info is!

Did the job
I used this for a trip to Haiti. I had to dig up a creative system to hang it since the ceiling was very high. It draped over a twin-size bed. It was a bit of a pain to get it situated just right so it wasn't draping on my body/head and stayed closed. But once I got it set and stopped moving, it worked well. I felt very protected, wasn't too hot, and didn't get zika or any other crazy disease!

Good value for the money
Permanently installed over our bed. Simple to install. Just hang from center loop. Our loop broke, when my wife rolled over the net and pulled at it. I repaired it with a zip tie easily. Keeps out med. to large critters. Really small insects get caught in net and can sometimes get through.

Store in a different bag
The net is as described. The problem is in the packaging. As soon as I pulled my net out, it snagged on the velcro closure. Now I have to stitch that snag. I've swapped out the bag for a hand-sewn one with a plastic button closure.

Works good.
Old review: I haven't used it yet, it just arrived. I'm a little nervous that this might not be good enough for malaria zones, which is where I'll be taking it. It says Safari Grade on the package, so let's hope. Some notes, this listing here says that it's 196 holes/square inch or (196 mesh grade). My package says 200 mesh grade. It is not given in the listing but my package says 50 denier which apparently means the strength of the fiber. I found something on the internet that for mosquito nets, [...], saying they recommend 120-200 for mesh grade and 70-100 for denier, with 100 being the strongest. I'll certainly give an update once I use it.Update: Worked great. Used it on a twin sized bed. The material is strong enough it's not going to rip. :)

I like this net
I bought this mosquito net for use on my terrace. It is perfect for a small area. I love that it folds down nicely and comes in it's own carry bag.
