Easy and convenient
Easy to write with and quality is nice. The locking pins work great for making sure the paper is aligned and makes it easy to erase and rewrite.

Great braille Writing Aid
This aid will help me relearn braille. I remember the formation of the dots in most letters, but practice will hone my skills and this slate and stylus will do the trick!

Great activity for lower elementary students!
I’m a Montessori elementary teacher who’s always craving for hands-on activity ideas. Our students used this kit for a language lesson follow-up activity.Students loved it!!!! They learned that there are different languages for all learners, just like how we use alphabet in English.I wish I could show you the moment some students touched the braille they created. Holds Up Better Than Expected
I bought these to show my students how to use a slate & stylus and to use myself. They are sturdier than I thought plastic ones would be, as I am used to metal ones. My students like to use the styli as braille erasers when they produce braille on the Perkins braille writer. They work well for that, too. Getting two slates and two styli with the purchase is a good deal.

Easy to use, leaves clear imprints.
I was using this as a teaching tool for the Signs, Signals, and Codes merit badge, and bought several. They were easy to use, and left really clear impressions that were easy to read with your fingertips.The only thing I noticed is that, of course, it's MUCH easier to read the raised part than the impression, which either means you have to write backwards, or I was using it wrong...

Simple and cost effective way to write Braille
I couldn't wait to try the slate out as soon as it arrived. I'm teaching myself Braille and made flashcards out of index cards and used this tool to add the raised dots. Works great on heavier cardstock like index cards and paper alike!

Habe das Set für einen Kindergeburtstag gekauft und die Kids waren sehr fasziniert. Das Set funktioniert super. Schade, dass nicht gleich noch passendes Papier dazu geliefert wird. Das habe ich letztlich beim Blindenverein bestellt. Da war es günstig.
