This is exactly what I needed when I ordered it. I was going to order the Ninja Slushy machine as I am in the Ninja ecosystem with all of the appliances that I use. But being single and not wanting to waste food/beverages, I opted for this single serving way. It works. Just have to be a little patient. But within minutes, you have a perfect slushy.

Love these! As long as you plan ahead and keep the inserts in the freezer- it is a great product with lots of options for frozen drinks!

Right now my daughter is enjoying another smoothie…we’ve had this 10 YEARS and still love it. My kids made me write this because I’m finally going to buy a 2nd one.

It works really well to take juice or a smoothie and make it into a slushy. However, it takes a while to slush a fy things. I bought it because I want to be able to use it for vegetable smoothies in other words smoothies that have kale in them and I cannot get them cold enough so that I don't taste the kale but this works very well. I wish it was bigger only that I'd like more of a serving, but for the size it does hold a lot and I like how it fits in my hands. It means that I'm able to get more vegetables in my diet because carrot smoothies are just weird, but if it's kind of hidden like ice cream, then it's kinda

UPDATED REVIEW BELOW.... I had some old slush cups and thought a newer set might work better. Nope. These BARELY create a slush. Even when you follow all the directions. They sort of ice up - but - not nearly enough. Disappointing. I'm glad I held onto the old ones! PS - remember - you cannot use any drink that isn't sugared. Sugar free drinks will not work. We were using sugared soda pop. Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. It works exactly as advertised, as long as you follow the instructions.

The slush maker itself works well, but after being in the freezer the goo that's inside the cup (the stuff that freezes to allow the cup to make slushies) is oozing out of the rim. This is the first time I've used it after buying, so I'm past the return date. I'm going to try sealing it with a food grade silicone sealant, but if you order one, test it/check it out promptly.
