My 2 and 3 yr olds CAN READ! You must get this series. AMAZING
I am a small business owner who works from home. I recently decided to homeschool my 2 and 3 yr old girls. I know crazy. I have no experience teaching and quite honestly am a little impatient. However, I figured why not at least try. Anyway, I started searching for sight word cards, because my goal was to get my 3 yr old reading on a kindergarten - 1st grade level by the end of the year.I went ahead with these cards even though they are pricey. I liked that there we're pictures and teaching instructions on each card. With low expectations, I started doing these with my kids. The second day they were doing the motions and had memorized the words. I WAS IN SHOCK. We took it slow at first, but then I saw my three yr. old absorbing the words after teaching them one time. So within a month and a half we are finishing the third pack and she is reading beginner books. We do the card 3-5 days a week depending on how busy our schedule is. So it has not been a big time commitment. My two yr old sucks her fingers and does not speak clearly. She often mumbles. But guess what? She has memorized an entire pack of these cards after only one review. People cannot believe she can read until I find a book with one of her sight words in it and she reads it.DO NOT HESITATE TO BUY THIS ENTIRE SERIES. These card along with the preschool prep videos are the best things that ever happen for my children's education.

Great success with SnapWord Sight Word Cards.
I started using SnapWord cards a year ago. Within 2 months I was hooked. With regular use my little student, who was simply unable to read, was given access to a whole new world. Once he'd figured out how the individual words (which he was finally starting to recognise) could be strung together, his reading took off. His confidence grew, and his whole class marveled at the transformation. he became the class bookworm! Now I'm using them with a new student. She loves the movements and ditties that go with each word. I am astonished at what she remembers, and how this multi-sensory approach helps her in her recall.I highly recommend the SnapWord cards.

Purchase these first!
I would recommend these to anyone with a child learning to read. I would INSIST on these for any dyslexic child learning to read. They are fun and integrate kinesthetic learning with traditional learning. My daughter actually looks forward to doing her snap words. This has worked better than any other method for learning those difficult sight words.

Coming from a Kindergarten teacher
I ordered all three sets of these sight word cards primarily for my students whom I suspect are dyslexic, and also for one with very slow cognitive abilities. These are cards are worth their weight in gold. The illustrations along with the hand/body movements associated with each word really hit a whole spectrum of learners. I will be adjusting plans for next year to incorporate these for my whole class.

Terrific Snap Word Cards
I liked the two sided cards. One side was just the word but the other side had a hint about what the word was. Great words were chosen. This was my 6 year old grandson and has helped him with words beyond his grade level.
