We recently mounted our tv on the wall in our living room. We found the sounds bounced off the back wall and distorted what we were hearing. These square acoustic panels easily mounted to the wall behind our tv using the double sided 3M tape. Using a level to make sure the first square was set properly set; the remaining squares went up without any issues. The edges are beveled and look good behind the tv. The overall effect of the panels has not only solved our sound issues but has improved the sound quality of our tv.

I recently bought a condo after living in an apartment for many years. I suffered for years from noise in that apartment because of my ignorant, piece of ****, undeserving of life, neighbors. I'm a very light sleeper, and they just had to bang around every time they closed something. (closet, window, cabinet, etc.) Time of night or early morning, didn't matter. No amount of polite requests, then complaints to the landlord, then paying them back on purpose would do the trick. I'm a quiet person, and I'm self aware. I just don't understand why people like that have to live loud and constantly bang around with everything they do. When they first moved in, they actually played the drums. Drums!! In an apartment building! How f****** stupid does one have to be??!! (the landlords did put a stop to that) Anyway, once I'm woken up by a "thud" of any kind, (closet, window, etc.) I can't go back to sleep, sometimes for two hours or more. It was hell. If I don't get enough sleep I literally feel sick all day. My health suffers, my work suffers, etc. Then I was finally able to buy a condo and move away! I thought my troubles were finally over. But no! Turns out, walls aren't any thicker when you own. (unless it's single family and no common walls) I was so depressed! Would I really have to go through life feeling sick and tired every day? NO! Because I found these magical panels. I had high hopes and unbelievably, I was rewarded. These thin, flat panels do the trick. I put up all twelve, in two rows of six as a headboard, right above the edge of my bed. And, to my sweet, sweet delight, I now don't hear my new neighbors in the early morning when they just have to bang around their damn closet or bathroom cabinet or whatever the f*** it is. (seriously, why is it so hard for some morons to just live quietly and to close things without making a loud thud?) Anyway, now, thanks to these wonderful panels, if I plan to get 8 hours of sleep, I actually get 8 hours of sleep because nothing and no one wakes me up. It's so lovely to feel good and energetic every day! It's truly amazing too because I was worried that since I didn't cover my whole wall that it wouldn't work. But it does, with just enough to cover the immediate area around where my head is. (As I said, I have them placed as a headboard) And, they look really great, very stylish! I got the white ones. They're easy to put up, I just used the self adhesive Command strips, the ones that hold 3 pounds each, but I put one in each corner of every panel and they went right up and are holding strong. These strips also supposedly won't ruin the paint job when taken down. Anyway, I bought these panels because of some very positive reviews I've read, specifically one lady that said "they'll cancel your neighbors right off the planet", and I thought "ha ha, these are for me". Maybe my review will help some tired soul out there that's also looking for an answer to never getting enough sleep because of other people. So if you're like me, suffer no more! Get these panels and start sleeping. They've saved my health and probably the life of my new neighbors. Thanks to these panels, I now don't have to hire a hit man. :)

My office shares a wall with a colleague. Unfortunately for us, the drywall separating us is extremely thin, so simple conversations are quite audible in the other office. Since I occasionally have conversations that I don't want my colleague to hear, I started looking into acoustic panels that I could mount to my wall. I decided to go with these since they were available in a gray color similar to the the current paint color on the wall, and I liked the marbled look on the set that I ordered. I ended up ordering two sets: most were put on the wall shared with my colleague (see picture) while the remaining were placed on the wall immediately behind my wall to reduce echo. While these certainly aren't soundproof panels as advertised, they have definitely cut down on echoes in my office as well as the transmission of sound through the walls.PROS:- The grey panels actually look quite nice in my opinion. They work well in a professional environment. The marbled look is simple but more interesting than a plain color. The chamfered edges add a bit of texture when multiple panels are hung adjacent to one another that I also think look nice.- I have no experience with acoustic panels, but these feel reasonably well-constructed. The material is pretty dense, and none of the 24 panels that I received had any appreciable defects in manufacturing.- The performance of the panels is quite good, and they accomplished what I was hoping they would. They definitely aren't "soundproof" - I can still hear some very lightly muffled talking coming from the office next to me - but they reduced the intensity of the sound that is transmitted through the walls as well as cutting down the echos in my office. Perhaps two layers of panels would get closer to a true "soundproof" effect? I'm not sure, but I'm happy with the result. That said, if you're looking to have a truly soundproof room you'll probably be disappointed with these, and you'll likely need to look at other, more expensive options.CONS:- This wasn't a huge issue for me, but something to be aware of: the panels do NOT have any pre-installed adhesive or included tape. You'll need to purchase some kind of adhesive separately. Make sure you include that in your order.Overall, I'm happy with these panels. I took off a star because they aren't truly "soundproof" as advertised - even when trying to block not-excessive amounts of sound - but they did definitely reduce sound coming through the very thin drywall I put them on, which is all I wanted. For $60 for two sets, I'm completely happy with this result. Recommended!

The wood house in LA has terrible soundproofing. This would improve a lot and is easy to put on the wall. It’s not that thick but works well. Nothing smelly and it’s totally worth it since it improves my sleep a lot.

El material es muy resistente, buena calidad, no se ve amarillo como otros. Además, yo lo corté para varias esquinas y se corta muy bien, aquí pude comprobar el tipo de material, resistente y sin dejar fibras por fuera.

Not reducing noise

Appearance is great as they blend in perfectly with the interiors as opposed to other pyramid/ wedge shaped panels. Efficiency still needs to be tested.
