We use this bed as our guestroom bed. It's now been over a year and it feels the exact same way. The mattress still feels firm and is perfect for supporting your weight after a tiring day. My parents ask me all the time how much I paid for the bed, since the have a sleep number and they say it feels almost the same. I don't know about comparing this mattress to a sleep number but its one of the best mattress' I've ever bought.

Kind of over the moon about this mattress. Arrived as described w/ no damage or defects of any kind. I was considering buying a box spring but just received and assembled an 18in frame today and it's just the right height for me. I tend to prefer a firmer mattress but still shoot for that "goldy locks" zone where there's still softer padding on top with some give. This mattress is spot on.I read previous reviews and suggestions about giving it 12-24 hours to fully decompress and fill out but it was honestly ready to roll 2-3 hours out. Though, I will note that to those who have previously mentioned needing to be prepared for the unboxing: they're not kidding. I was trying to cut the packaging tape just right to give myself enough time to get out of the way but still got clocked a bit cutting that final band. Luckily, it's only a mattress----but still, it packs a bit of a punch.Can't say enough about it. I'd order it again and have already recommended it to friends with similar comfort requirements.

I was impressed with the speed of delivery. The bed did not have an odor and decompressed within about 5 hours to it's full size.I was so happy with the look but has my snobbish brother be the first guest to use the bed. I asked him about the comfort and he said, "It's okay."Well I take pleasure in making certain guests have comfortable beds and linens when they visit me. So before his return visit, I purchased a Linen Spa 2 inch Cooling Memory Foam Topper to accompany Smith and Oliver's Organic Coiled Foam Mattress.He woke up after a night's rest bragging about the comfort of the bed and how he did not want to get out of it.It's turned out to be a Guestroom Delight. People are no longer fighting about which guestroom they want because both now have very comfortable mattresses; despite the fact that my other room's mattress cost 5 times more than I paid for this one with the mattress topper.

Definitely in no way firm. We let it decompress for the suggested 48 hours before using. The level of bounce this mattress has is trampoline bouncy. It is not firm at all. When I sit on the edge to put on my shoes, the mattress compresses down to 2 inches. You can feel all the springs. When I sit on it, I can literally feel my bed frame through the mattress. When either me or my partner moves a body part, the entire mattress shakes. I now find out that this item is NOT returnable and not supported by Amazon at all. NO customer service from them whatsoever. And this is the response from the distributor of this mattress: "I do apologize we are not able to assist with this return. If you would like to return, please feel free to do so with any carrier of your choice. Please provide us with the return tracking number and at that time we can issue your refund on the order." So great, $183 down the drain. Maybe my dog will like it? Seriously, I have no idea how all these "verified purchase" reviewers think it's so amazing. It is not. I'm also going to find out where this distributor is and report them to the BBB. It's companies like this that create fear when buying online.I had to go buy a new mattress as this one is completely useless. I went into a big name brand shop and they were selling a mattress with the exact same top covering as this one saying "organic", same design and same fabric. I think it's a generic fabric that companies buy to make their product more appealing.If you are scent sensitive, there were no bad smells upon removing the plastic.

Love the price point, comfort & that it arrived early!Dislike the stability of the mattress? when you get on it it feels shaky, not super sturdy (literally my only dislike.) I slept on it for 3 nights in a row just to try it out. And once on the bed, it's fine. I slept like the dead for those 3 nights!But I bought this queen for a guest daybed in my office, for company over the holidays. I will be 100% buying the full size of this mattress for the trundle!

Love this mattress! Great price and fast delivery. I'm very picky because I'm 6'4" tall 250 pounds. I was worried the mattress wouldn't be able to hold me. But it is very firm and it unpacked easily. I waited the full 48 hours for it to fluff up, even though it looked ready by 24 hours. Also, if you have back problems I recommend this mattress. I have a buldgin disk at L4/L5. I noticed better sleep and a lot less discomfort on the 2nd night. It is very firm, so be sure that's what you a looking for. Also, I use a down sleeping bag as a base, but I didn't notice the feel of springs in my back, as other people have posted. I just use the sleeping bag because it feels fluffy, but still allows me to get that firm mattress support.

We got this for our son's new murphy bed. Overall the mattress is comfortable to sleep in in the center, the edges are so unstructured that you feel like you are falling off when you get near (6-8 inches) the sidewalls. Our mattress is on a platform, so the issue is not a supportive structure underneath it. The mattress itself collapses in on itself at the sides.Knowing what we know now, we would not buy it again. As a warning, anyone with less than 100% physical capability, reflexes and/or reactions sleeps in this it could be a problem, both with falling out of bed, or struggling to get up or out of it and falling.
