These are incredibly light (as in weight) and very bright. The length of each strand easily covers ceiling to floor, the strand itself is very thin, each strand has a hook at the top of it so it can be attached to a clip/suction cup/hook. There are 10 strands and each strand is approx 12 inches/30 cm apart. There is a remote control with them with 8 different settings for the lights (e.g. wave, chasing, steady on etc.,) There are also 'dim - ' and 'dim + ' buttons on the remote control, plus a timer option (6hrs on - 18 hrs off). The power comes from a USB plug in stick which I am using in a power extension lead with USB port. The lights look stunning in the evening. Excellent value for money.

Although not as expected these lights which hang from the curtain rail are easy to install & very effective. It has a remote offering a good variety of lighting options & value for the money. Are very fragile & did not work after removing & therefore had to dispose

Set of coloured string lights. Supplied as 10 strings with hooks to aid with hanging. These strings are very thin wires, provided as coiled up and so take quite a bit of time to uncoil, as they act a bit like a slinky spring. I wanted to have these in the window so just taped them to the glass, but if you want them to hang freely then you will need to attach a bit of weight to the bottom to get them to hang straight. The lights need to be plugged into a USB power supply which is not provided. The lighting modes can be controlled by a button on the light unit itself or via the remote control. There a number of flashing modes as well as a constant ON mode. The lights can also be dimmed.

Please do not buy this product, I had spent almost 5 hours trying to entangle it and got nowhere.. then seeing that they were all wrapped around each other and pulled tightly, it is an utter waste of money..!!!

I am a photographer and purchased these lights for Christmas photoshoots.They look great when they're up, and they're fine the first time you use them, but if you are planning on packing them away and getting them out again - good luck.The wire is very thin, gets caught on everything and somehow knots with the other light strands.I would say they would be perfect for lights that are going to be installed and not taken down again, but they're difficult to work with on a regular basis.

The actual product itself is very good and the lights are pretty. Only issue I didn't consider the hooks being quite small. So they wouldn't fit across my window without some extra DIY skills
