Beautifully made
It looked pretty nice in the photo but it turned out to be even nicer. It's obviously a perfect fit. The leather is soft and excellent quality and it's very well-made. It also has a very nice X1 embossed into the case.

Very expensive for what it is, not leather either
Having just bought a ThinkPad Titanium I wanted a really smart slipcase to carry it around and protect it. None available in the UK but fortunately available from Amazon USA. Delivered quickly to the UK. However the heading stating that it is leather is incorrect, as it is in fact made of plastic. If it had been leather then the price charged could have been justified, but certainly not when made of plastic. The magnetic closure is rather hit and miss, it works when there is no laptop inside but does not fasten when the laptop is inside it. It does look very smart, especially with the X1 logo on the front, but a lot of money for something made from plastic.

Nice but with issues
Looks good, genuine leather but feels a bit like textured plastic. Needed some leather care product to make it look black. Very flexible, I was hoping to be more sturdy. I bought it to use with a MacBook 16β but unfortunately itβs 1-2cm too small for it, it does fit my iPad 12.9β with keyboard perfectly so itβs not that big like other reviewers said.The magnets are still a concern, perhaps Iβll butcher them out at some point but there are four at the front and two at the back, they seems to be neodymium 25mm diameter and very thin so not too strong.

Too large
Leather quality is ok. Iβm quite disappointed about the size, though. It has a much larger footprint than necessary and makes my x1 look like a 16β laptop when it is in the sleeve.
