I was skeptical about wether this thread was any good or if it would run on my machine. I was really surprised when it came. The colors were all vibrant and it was packed nicely. I embroidered two hand towels with blank bears in different shades of grey and they came out fantastic. The thread did not break or jam up. I just ordered two more sets (1 & 2) so I have a lot more colors to work with. I have two Brother and three Husqvarna embroidery machines and have been doing embroidery for 20 years. This is the beast thread and value I have found. Thank you for such a great product at an affordable price.

Brodhead thread
This thread had been breaking when I used it on my sewing machine to embroider projects. The folks at brothread worked with me trying to troubleshoot why it was breaking and fraying. It turns out this thread did not break or fray when I put it on the thread stand. I only had time to do one embroidery project and I used the same image, needle and thread as I had when the thread had been breaking. But with the thread on the stand, it did not break.

The only thing I dislike about this thread is that I can't get individual spools to replace the ones I have used up. Color N244 is the perfect shade of darker red to add depth to flowers and fruit. I have purchased a lot of thread from this company and they always perform great. Not a lot of breakage, beautiful color, and a lovely sheen to add just the right amount of shine to a project. The example above is a project I am currently working on, a harvest bowl. post script, have now found another great color 261 in Assortment 1 that I have already used up and can't get an individual spool of.
