Great fit for my ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 9 Intel (14"). No issues.

Leather is good, professional quality. Stitching and painted edge match that off name brand leather products I own. Feel in hand is really quality.Fits the X1 perfectly. Can probably slip in a thin smaller notepad or papers into back pocket. Just big and sturdy enough for short commutes.

Quality of the leather is great. However as mentioned by the other reviews the X1 logo has come off after only 1 month. Metal doesn’t stick is floppy leather that well.

I really wanted to love this case. It looked perfect online. It is a bit expensive though and that's the real anchor in judging it. Well, as soon as I opened the packaging, the metallic "1" from the X1 accent on the corner of the magnetic flap just fell off instantly. Worse still, even if I tried gluing it back on (yuck), the overall positioning of the X1 logo is permanently slanted by a degree or two; thats just a flaw from the factory that cannot be corrected since its debossed into the leather. For the price, it's really important that these lines are parallel with the flap; the customer notices.Anyway I'll speak a bit more about what is good here. Yes the leather is top tier; it feels and smells like something you'd find from a high-end European fashion house. Hopefully it ages just as well, but I'll never know since I returned it. The stitching looks good; fortunately no complaints there.I also bought a similar sleeve from Dell for an XPS 15 and both have something in common where the magnets are underwhelmingly weak. Also a disappointment. Overall for my 6th gen X1 Yoga, I ended up getting the "ThinkPad Professional 14-inch Magnetic Laptop Sleeve" (part number = 4X41L51716) which was less than half the price of this and the magnetic seal at the top works much better. You trade the "vero cuoio" look for 100% synthetic materials but at least you don't suffer disappointment after such high expectations.

Very nicely put together laptop sleeve. The material is a very soft leather with a fuzzy suede inside. The X1 logo is a metal badge embossed into the leather and looks quite nice. Only issue was the flap would not stay closed when I had my Lenovo X1 gen 3 tablet inside. The flap snaps shut with flat magnets inside the leather layers. The flap would shut then flop open. I did make sure my tablet is within the size specs, so the the sleeve wasn't over stuffed full. The flap magnets did line up properly on both sides to the bag magnets. The flap would still flop right open. For the price, my expectations were a little higher than what was provided. Ended up returning the item.

This is a great quality case and really luxurious leather. The only downside is that it is a lot wider than the laptop itself and you can’t charge the X1 Carbon while it is inside the case as in the previous generation models.

I thought until today this product was high quality I was wrong. First time I used during a business trip for 2 weeks, and part of "X1" came off (see picture).
