I have been taking one of these supplements once a day for over 20 years and I have not had the flu. I used to get the flu shot every year until my boss introduced me to this supplement. Proof is in the bottle because it has kept me from missing a day of work from illness. I have had sinus infections here and there over the years but when I did I would take 2 a day and my illness was not as bad as others and recover more quickly.Highly recommended!

Seems like a good product...I'm getting cholesterol tested next week though, and we'll see if it makes a difference.

I cannot say enough good things about the effectiveness of Solaray's beta glucan for stimulating the immune system. My whole family puts in a stock each fall and we very rarely get colds and no flu for years. I even had occasion to use it on a horse that wasn't recovering from some mystery respiratory illness. Within 24 hours the congestion began breaking up and after 3 days of horse sized doses she was well on the road to normal. I highly recommend this for people feeling a bug coming on or before a high exposure situation.
