I have a 2014 Honda Accord EX (push button start) and purchased this starter very late on August 30th. The estimated delivery was between 9/3 and 9/7. I received the part the morning of 9/3. My starter fully quit on me the day before, so the fact it arrived earlier was great! I had a mechanic friend put it in on 9/6 and after install it started right up! We did have to run out to Lowe’s to purchase a replacement bolt since one of the bolts from my original starter was really corroded and cracked. The bolt was under $3, so between the cost of this starter and the bolt I paid under $90 for the parts. I researched MULTIPLE new replacement starters for my Honda on MULTIPLE sites and after reading reviews and comparing specs, I bought this one. The install wasn’t too bad. My friend was able to replace the starter in my driveway. He used my carjack in the front and blocks for my rear wheels. Of course it’s always easier if you’re able to put a car on a lift, but it’s not required; just make sure your emergency brake is on to prevent rolling. It took about 2 hours to complete, but this included a 25 minute round trip to Lowe’s and back. If you’re on the fence, go ahead and buy it! The quality was great and the price of this new starter even better. Plus it arrived much sooner than expected! It is definitely worth it!UPDATE: Monday, November 21, 2022…For those concerned about the longevity of this starter - Mine is still working great - no issues. As you can see from my original review and this update, it’s been over a year since install and it’s still working. I want to be clear - I drive this car every day, every where. I travel all over for work 6-7 days per week (travel pet care). I drive all over my state and I’ve taken multiple trips out of state as well. When my original starter stopped working, I had around 80,000 miles on my car. Since install of this new starter, I’ve driven just over 40,000 miles (yes 40,000 - that’s not a misprint), and no matter the weather or how many times per day I start my car, it still starts right up. Whether I start my car 3 times per day or 20 (literally), it starts right up. I hope this update helps those concerned about the longevity and quality of this starter.

Works AMAZING for my 2016 CRV! SUCH A MONEY SAVER from local part stores!!

Was skeptical due to the fact this thing costs almost 400$ at the auto part store. Ordered and received fast, installed in about 3 hours due to the fact you have to raise the car up pretty high to work on it from underneath. Very hard to get your hands in there due to the drive shaft being in the way. Try putting the electric wire on before you reinstall it. Once installed car started up perfectly. Direct replacement for the factory part. Will see how long it lasts but for now it sounds like a very good replacement and definitely for the money! I would recommend this !!!

Good fit for the vehicle. Best if you have a lift and a second pair of hands to change. DIY videos very helpful if you haver changed one of these.

Don’t buy this starter. This starter lasted only 5 months in my 2014 Honda Accord. It started cranking more slowly and failed 2 weeks later. It’s not a quality product. It should last a few years at the very least.

So far it's working as oem. Will see how long this last and will update it later.

Part installed perfectly. Started car first try. I had no problems with installation, battery connection or signal wire connection. Lowest price I found on hours of searching.

I'm 30K miles into this starter and no issues so far! Beat the OEM starter price BIG TIME!
