OnlineMetals A513 Cold Roll Carbon Steel Round Tubing, Drawn Over Mandrel, ASTM A513, 7/8" Outside Diameter, 3/4" Inside Diameter, 0.065" Wall, 12" Length

Bought this tubing to make skid shoes for my tractor's rear blade. The material is excellent for that use and I wanted to use it in conjunction with "Cold Rolled Steel A513 Drawn Over Mandrel Round Tubing, ASTM A513, 3/4" OD, 0.37" ID, 0.188" Wall, 12" Length " but as luck would have it, the smaller 3/4 OD tube was the exact same size as the ID of the 1-1/4 tubing I bought and would have to be machined to fit.I went to Rural King and bought 3/4 in x 6-1/2 implement pins and used those for the purpose I had intended for the 3/4 OD tubing. Don't pay any attention to the item's image for either of these pieces of tubing since they are substantially thicker than what is being shown.Either way, the tubing is sent rust free and straight. I'm well pleased with this item and more than happy with the price.I was able to use this to make my skid shoes, even with buying some of the other needed items from Rural King, and make two complete sets of skid shoes for $28.00 per set. Compare that to sets being sold on EBay for $180.00 and you are money ahead.

I used this to extend some oil cooler lines with a .5” union on an old Land Rover.

Ordered this piece in a small lenth because I wanted it specifically to use on my press for pressing on bearings. My steel store doesn't stock a lot of steel and I purchased this from Amazon. I used other online stores that charge outrageous prices for shipping less than 1 foot of DOM tubing, it was nice to have free shipping from Amazon. Although it didn't get here in two days, it was 4 or less. The DOM was like any other DOM I had purchased in the past. Happy with the product and the shipping service.

This is pretty soft steel. Welded easily. It is very consistent OD and ID. No ERW seam. Nearly perfectly concentric/uniform wall thickness. No ovality. 36" length delivered straight too. Only downside, the 7/8" x 3/4" ID I purchased was actually .745". Again, very consistent but not .750". May not matter to you, but for my application I was driving a .750" pin into cut lengths of this tubing, so it was a bad deal. Spent a few hours drilling it out to a full .750". Other than that, good price on a short length. Locally, only available in 20' lengths at almost identical $/ft.

With Prime shipping, it's a good buy, but something like this is more economical if purchased locally. That is, if possible. Now, this is listed as two different lengths. 12 inches long in the header, and, it's OAL (over all length) is listed as 60 inches in the copy. For this price shipped, I expected it to be 12 inches long, which it was. In appearance, it has a standard quality mill finish. It's what you would expect from any established steel vendor.

Well after waiting a week I get the tubing and it smaller Id than it was supposed to be so it is useless.. Now I have to order more tubing from somewhere else... Or going down my hiems to fit..

This pipe is exactly as described and fit my needs perfectly.

Pretty simple here. It's a 2 foot chunk of tubing. However it's measurements are good, mikes out right at .65 thickness and is very smooth inside. Being that I was using it to make a custom seatpost for an obsolete electric scooter, and the inside finish was such that I did not have to do much to clean it up, it's basically perfect. OD was right on as well.
