A great convenience for an occasional latte drinker and very cost effective!
My wife and I love this machine. It is our first venture into making our own latte’s. We can cost justify this machine in under two months including all ingredients (pods, milk, syrup etc). The flavor of the expresso is more than acceptable. We came up with a percentage of going out to our fav coffee shop and figure this device / expresso is 85% (taste) of what we pay $6 - 7 for. So we are thrilled to be saving money and having our latte in under 2 minutes! Of course for practical purposes, we will at times still have coffee drinks when we are out and about. We are not experts at expresso drinks nor do we have one everyday but, we are very happy in the two weeks (10 times). I will update this post in a few months with how the machine holds up.

Best purchase of the year!
I love this machine - so easy to use and makes delicious beverages! I haven’t bought coffee since I got it. I’ve made lattes and cappuccinos and the beverage temperature is just right. Water capacity is sufficient for daily use, lasts 5-7 days. I keep it in my office and it’s not super loud when it brews either espresso or milk drinks. It’s just incredibly convenient and the coffee tastes amazing. I got the crema and the purple box intenso x2. The crema is perfect for single shot drinks and the intenso is good for double shots. Great design, not too big to keep in the office or if you have limited counter space. It comes with a very nice glass cup and frother/steamer lid.

No regrets!
I had a LOR machine…I really like some of the coffee but you’re limited with that machine as to flavors and availability. I bought the Keurig that has the cream frother built in. I wasn’t crazy about the taste of the coffee and neither was my husband. I did discover that I loved Lavazza brand coffee. It’s better than Starbucks imo. So I bought the Lavazza machine…it is amazing. The coffee has a lot of substance and a clean flavor. It doesn’t have that stale weird k cup capsule flavor but does taste like barista made coffee. This machine has a ton of options and many choices of coffees and flavors. I’m so glad I went ahead and bought this! Well well worth it!Edit: I still love the machine and it works great. I was curious why this machine is under $200 and another very similar model is $409. I looked closely and here’s the difference: one is manufactured in Italy and the company offers some warranty details. It’s also 1350 Watts. That would be the $409 dollar model. The other is 1250 watts and manufactured in China. Lavazza won’t offer any respite if you have an issue. Having said that I love this machine and can’t imagine it being much better for the price.

I wanted to love it but had too many issues
The media could not be loaded. I bought this coffee machine after months of figuring out which one would give me the authentic cappuccino I have had for years with my Tassimo. I had real milk and espresso pods with Tassimo and needed something that made milk based drinks as well as regular good coffee without many steps. The Expert Classy Plus fit the bill because I didn't have to use a separate frother like Nespresso or have flavored coffee with Keurig. My machine works ok, but I was told by Lavazza technical service that the amount of water dispersed into the holding capsule compartment is normal and on occasion the pod needs to be nudged in place, or it will get stuck. Both issues bother me, and don't think any amount of water should be the norm for an empty compartment of used capsules. The amount of coffee in each capsule is more than Nespresso which gives a bolder taste which I like, but I still might return it as I have 30 days. Wish Tassimo was still a current machine with easy to order available compatible coffee. Lavazza is the number one coffee in Italy, and it is authentic, but the machine seems to need some tweaks, so I am on the fence at this point as to what the alternative is. Mine could be defective, as others who have the same machine do not have water accumulated in the capsule storage in the machine. I would need a replacement to find out. What to do...what to do...UPDATE 4.24.23 Around two weeks ago the machine started leaking water from the bottom all over my counter and I wrote to Lavazza again explaining the timeline of defective issues which they were aware of with this new one added and did not get any solution to date. I am positive I got a defective unit, as all Lavazza machines can't be this way. Two stars is for the coffee taste and ability to make a real cappuccino in one process, not my experience with a defective unit. I called Amazon in my despair and explained the chain of events, and they refunded my money! I am very grateful for the great customer service Amazon provides and appreciate their diligence in helping me. THANK YOU AMAZON!

Best espresso and latte machine - no question
I brag about my Classy Plus every chance I get. Lavazza is my favorite coffee. Adding to that the ability to make an espresso or latte with real milk, and not those weird milk-like pods like other brands - it is perfect. I pop in a Lavazza pod (of course), fill the included jug with milk of my choice and hit a button. I walk off and come back to a perfect latte with zero skill on my part. Pod prices vary, but I get the best selection and price at Italy’s Best Coffee- Lavazza’s US retailer.

Switched from Nespresso
We switched to this from Nespresso and could not be more impressed. The coffee tastes superior and the pods are half the cost.

Taste
Excellent coffee machine. Tastes just like on the celebrity cruise ship. Must use Lavazza coffee .

Good coffee pot
This makes good coffee, but the espresso sucks. We use this in the motor home. It replaced a Nespresso machine. Both the new, and classic Nespresso machines make better espresso.
