great box for outdoor use
I have bought plastic boxes for housing all kinds of things like relays , power supplies, charging stations, etc. The plastic boxes always fail the same way, they get brittle with UV light, and warp until they no longer seal out water. I have replaced water timers and other products because the plastic box they are held in all fall apart. So Again, I’m replacing a water sprinkler timer in a plastic box. This time though, I spent more on the box then on the timer to prevent future failures. I purchased the 16x16x6 all metal Vevor box ip66 box with a lock for my rental house. The housing is well made all powder coated steel with hinges and a grounded front cover with a bottom plate that is removable and can be drilled for power cords and wires that is sealed with a gasket. The front door is also sealed. Inside is mounted an exterior rated sprinkler timer by Orbit but since I’ve had so many supposedly exterior rated devises and boxes fail I decided no more. I mounted this sprinkler timer onto the removable back inside the box and ran a120 volt exterior duplex box with a gfci outlet to inside the metal box to power the timer and the wires for the valves come up through the bottom cover where I drilled two 3/4 holes in the cover and installed plastic hole bushings to prevent chafing of the wires and mounted the entire assembly to the eastern facing side of the house. I live in the SF bay area and all weather comes from the west and moves easterly. The box is on the leeward side of the house and is protected from weather by a 24 inch roof overhang in a sheltered patio. The lockable door is to prevent renters from getting into the box and changing the watering timer settings or unplugging it from the outlet. I’m a happy landlord now with it all buttoned up neatly inside this all metal box that should not leak or warp and is pretty secure. The door lock is a little chinsy and can be opened by a screwdriver if needs be but is enough to keep it fairly secure. If you need a real lock to secure the box and its contents you’ll have to find a lock with a key and replace the cheap lock. Overall, I am very satisfied with this box and it’s overall appearance as well as its build quality. It should now outlast me. Drilling the inside of the box to run romex and drilling the back and plate on the bottom as well as securing the timer and exterior rated duplex box revealed perhaps a 16 of an inch thick steel plate so, its definitely sturdy. The powder coating is even throughout and looks great.

Highly Versatile and Durable Enclosure - Perfect for Outdoor Projects!
I recently integrated the VEVOR electrical box into an advanced tech setup, and it surpassed my expectations. I'm using the box to support a range of devices: a Ubiquiti Nanobeam for backhauling data to a remote location, a Ubiquiti UniFi switch connected to a UniFi G5 Camera, a UniFi Access Hub for a gate operator, and a Generac PWRCell. Given the number and variety of devices, I was initially concerned about fitting everything securely. However, the VEVOR box proved to be both spacious and adaptable. Its robust design and IP66 protection level are perfect for my outdoor installation in Phoenix, AZ. I have peace of mind knowing that my high-tech equipment is shielded from weather conditions, dust, and other potential hazards. I added ventilation fans, essential for the Arizona heat, ensure that the devices remain cool and perform optimally. The keyed lock feature is a fantastic addition, providing a tamperproof solution and ensuring my setup remains secure.Furthermore, the box's design, combined with wall mounting pendants, made the installation process seamless, especially with the right tools. The integration of additional features like the RV Shore Power Inlet and RJ45 Panel Mount Waterproof Connectors was straightforward. The VEVOR electrical box is a top-tier choice for those looking to house multiple control devices securely. Its versatility, durability, and spacious interior make it an excellent option for various projects. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

Great Product
Ordered 3 units, 1 wk delivery, HD Construction, great Door, weather Seal, lock and 2 keys. Perfect Powder Paint job. missing a few self-threading screws for cover but not a big deal. These are awesome units, a bit pricey but worth it. I bought these to store 3 HD 12 Ga 100 ft Extension Cords next to my new 2400 KV Generac in case of extended power outage to help my neighbors preserve food stuffs and provide some power for 911 lighting. I installed 2 independently controlled GFI Duplex outlets nearby with 20 AMP Breakers in Power Panel. These accessible Boxes serve to protect those cords from the weather long term. Makes us feel good to provide these in a 911 setting for neighbors and children. These Boxes are the icing on the cake. Rocky in Missouri

Good quality product, hard to install.
I bought this item to replace an older Apollo gate control box that was rusting out. The problem is that it does not have the same dimension as the old box (which was installed onto 1/2" thick metal strapping). IT took a lot of intense drilling to create support holes in the approximate locations to fit the box. My situation may be unique, but just beware that the hinges on this unit are flexible and may be higher or lower than any previous installation. Also, the removable gasketed plate at the bottom did not line up with my gate cables and I had to cut an additional hole in the base of the unit. That said, it is a wonderful box: sturdy, weatherproof, lockable. It looks like it will last a long time.

Great enclosure for the money
Solid, well built enclosure, with grounded and gasketed door, and all cheaper than a NEMA 1 equivalent!

Antenna entrance box - perfect and a great price.
I used this as a weatherproof entry for my antenna cables into my Amateur Radio Station. Very nice.Pix is of the first connections, since cleaned and dressed cables. Next is to replace grommets with waterproof bulkhead cable pass-thru devices.
