Super Robot Wars OG: The Moon Dwellers (English) for PlayStation 4 [PS4]

Have been looking forward to this for years. An english version of super robot wars is probably one of the most fun tactical rpgs I've played outside of Fire emblem Fates. I'd suggest this to anyone with even a passing interest in fire emblem as you get the best of both worlds. The production quality here is extremely well done. Every single animation is immensely detailed, and I found myself watching some attack cinematics multiple times just to appreciate the animation.If this happens to be your first SRW:OG game however, (and if you're playing this in english, chances are that it is), you'll find that there's a massive, massive amount of backstory that you'll have to catch up on. Characters that you might not be aware of pop in and out while expecting you to understand a lot of their backstory as well. To note, there are highlighted words you can select and read up more about them, but that might take you a very, very long time. There's a lot of information here to absorb before even starting the game.Aside from that, the story isn't the focus here anyways, it's the awesome animations, the tactics based gameplay, and the large amount of upgrades you can put into your pilot, and your mech. Those of you who are slightly afraid to take on something this deep, I would still suggest it because SRW now has an "beginner" mode that gives you more cash and upgrades than you would on a regular run.Overall, this will carry me over until I end up buying SRW 2017 when it releases early next year. Thank you Bandai Namco for actually releasing this with english subs!

I recall playing and LOVING the SRW Original Generation games on Game Boy Advance years ago, so when I knew this was available in English I decided to get it. I have to say it's awesome, very similar to the GBA games. Challenging but fun and the story is good enough. Does not have PS4-level graphics but that honestly never bothered me. If you like strategy games, mechs/anime or a fan of the series on GBA then you would love this one.

Great and lots of fun!Never been a fan of the long story dialogue but don't mind skipping trough it.The game itself makes up for all the negative that may stack up against it.Great buy!

The games came super fast for this one I wish they would release a translation patch update so that’s it’s more in line with the latest games that have come out

Good game. So-so English translation. Worth it if you are a fan of the SRW originals series.
