This is a diatonic tremolo harmonica, but I would not recommend it for playing blues or bending notes.

It is a diatonic in that is only plays the notes of the C scale. Each hole has one reed for blow and another for draw. The top and bottom holes are one octave apart. A tremolo harmonica has two reeds for a note that are tuned very slightly above and below the target note. The Comet 2504-C is not a tremolo but Hohner does make a line of tremolo harmonicas.
