Comfort
I haven't slept in my bed since I got this chair. It is that comfortable and good for my back. I have been sick since Mother's Day and this chair has helped me through all the varied respiratory illnesses. My back hasn't tried to spasm since using this chair either. I had a slant board, but after having replacement knee surgery the Drs. said the slant board wasn't a good idea. This chair is better than the slant board. Only complaint is it doesn't rock, but one can't have everything! It's well made, I was able to put it together by myself - 5'1", 67 yrs young. and they made the shoulder straps on the pillow that attaches behind the head long enough that a short person can still get relief without my neck being thrown out of kilter by it being in wrong place on my neck.

Highly Recommended, Easy Assembly, Good Value, Respected Company
This is Human Touch's "Entry Level" Zero Gravity "Perfect Chair". And the tilt mechanism is MOTORIZED. A great price for the key feature (Zero Gravity Tilt) offered by the same company for nearly twice as much. Those were always too pricey for me but I purchased this model, assembled it easily with clear instructions and am very pleased with it. Compare it to their higher end models (which do have some nice upgrades) but you can't beat the price tag. It's made in Thailand, great quality, packaged wonderfully all in a single box, and Amazon dropped it off on my doorstep this morning in 2 days. So easy. And it's authentic top-grain leather (vs vinyl or (pleather"). The only downside is that it comes in 1 color and no options. If you want better leather, more color options, and some other add-on's, look at their higher end version perfect chairs. FYI - this US-based company has been in the ergonomics business for over 40 years so I felt they would stand by their product.

Almost Perfect
This chair has done wonders for my legs and lower back in just a few weeks. It came highly recommended by medical friends (though not a specific brand, just Zero). At that I find the chair a bit too narrow and the motor control awkward at best. Attaching the arm rests to plastic bases is cheesy and not particularly easy since I now have a lost screw rattling around inside the mount and cannot get it out. But yes, I would buy this again.

wanted more i guess
assembly wasn't too difficult. i had one screw in one armrest that didn't line up but unless i pull up hard on the armrest it should hold.it's not very comfortable. while the materials seem good - quality leather and wood - the padding is minimal. for a short person (i am 5'7") the 'knee' is too far forward (thigh length is too long) so i don't get a good position for sitting. feet don't reach the floor. hard on the lower back in the 'upright' position. pretty much have to recline far enough so the legs are somewhat extended.already after 2 months seeing signs of the leather on the back at the low back/butt end being pulled down. hoping the leather will just hold up and not tear or come apart. tbd.also the head rest part is connected with velcro and just hangs from over the back. so it's a hassle to adjust, which you pretty much need to do when you recline. i have stopped using it.to adjust the upper back angle you have to reach back over your head with both hands and pull or push, it's just on a 'stiff hinge.' not ideal if you have shoulder or back problems.and the control is counter intuitive - you push down to recline, pull up to get up out of it. you (or i) instinctively push down to get my feet to the floor, up to get the feet up. even after 2+ months of daily use i still push or pull the wrong way initially often.so for $2000+ i am disappointed. was a lot for a chair, i expected better. hardly consider it a 'perfect chair.' 3 stars is generous, mainly for the materials. if you are taller, longer legged, might work better for you.jury is out on how long the motor will last. i get in and out of this thing often and have to recline (per above) every time.

OMG, I'm in heaven in this chair!
I admit we've had this only 24 hours. It is SO comfortable for me (5'2") and my hubby (5'10"). In our 70's you know we're bound to have back and circulation issues. When I got in and got my feet up I relaxed completely! We watched the YouTube tutorial as we put it together. The instructions are perfect. It's all planned out so you cannot use the wrong screws. DO NOT open all the bags at the same time! However, you can't see the screw holes on the underside of the arms and there are extra holes. I put my first tiny screw for the arm pads into an empty hole (the front right one) where it got loose in the armrest. I put 2 magnets on the outsides and pulled it up and down until it fell out! I also put silicone spray on a rag and rubbed it on the backrest tubes to help slide them in. I did have to sort of push (squeeze) the tubes together while I guided them (fine opportunity to pinch a finger) to get them both in at the same time. A leather mallet tap on the lower bar helped. So far so GREAT!

If a company advertises its product as leather and it's not, is that a lie?
I should have saw this coming because I recently purchased a Lexus and had to buy an older model to get leather seats if you can believe that. So when I saw this advertised as leather for some reason, call me crazy, I expected to receive a chair made of leather. Was it? Of course it wasn't. What is this tactic? How can it be called anything other than false advertising or lying? Seemed I was paying for leather so I guess that's why I expected it.Leather:1.a material made from the skin of an animal by tanning or a similar process."a leather jacket"
