this isn't a pen it's just a cheap piece of plastic. I was hoping to be able to use this as my ballpoint pen during school and spin it now and then for fun. its just cheap plastic and with rubber ends. pretty neat spinner stick though.tldr: dont buy it if you are looking for a pen, but if you want a beginner spinning stick then this is a decent option.
