Stakes are very fragile when installing. Otherwise very good product.

I used this edging border against the side of my house to provide a mowing strip and not have to use the edger along that part of the year. Used a vinegar and salt solution to kill back the existing grass along the wall. Waited a couple of days, pulled out the dead grass line and laid the edging border. Easy peasy. Haven't had to edge that side of the yard since.

Product is good.... However, I recommend buying metal landscape staples as the plastic ones shipped with this product are useless unless you have VERY sandy, soft soil. They simply bend or break! Also note this is only 4.5" wide. You might want a wider border.

1 sheet was an 1nch wider then the rest of them. And when I tried adjusting one 8ft sheet and tugged on corner it ripped apart.Not as thick and hardy as I expected.Just layed them late Nov. (in mn)so I have to see how they work out this spring as far as weed control and hardiness over winter.

These strips do not have any backing paper the way other, competitive strips do. Since these strips seemed thinner than the competitive strips, that is a real concern. The plastic spikes that come with them were bent in the packaging and impossible to get in even rain soaked wet ground without breaking. I will not be buying these again.Update: 2 new discoveries -1. Without the cloth backing, the mulch strips shrink in cold weather, leaving gaps between strips placed side by side. No, when warner weather comes they do not expland.2. The vendor promised me a refund on February 20, that should appear in my account in 5-7 business days. Had that happened, I likely would have given another star for a good customer service action. After nearly a month, no refund has shown up. Now down to one star.I appealed to Amazon after the 7 business days that the promise had not been fulfilled. So far, no word beyond having received my concern. However, I do understand that Amazon's investigation may take a while.
