Yes this is correct. It is an echo!!!!LOL Watch your volume level. Too load will cause an echo effect.

I have the same problem. I've checked all the mic properties, i've disabled all other sound devices, I tried a different cable, I tried in on multiple PC's and on my cell phone, and ALWAYS the caller on the other line can hear themselves talking.

Q: Will this work with a Microsoft Surface?

As long as you have a USB and room to support the software...not sure why it would not.
