Being used in a security locking application
The latches are very well put together and are well built and strong. tThe down side the application holding screws not near capable of holding the needed strenght eaual to the latch assembly hardware needs to be upgraded

Latch, pin, done
Purchased a 4x8 utility trailer and I needed a ways to secure the self made tailgate to the sides of the trailer. These worked great and are easy to use. The spring is not by any means "tight" or hard to compress. It gives you enough compression to feel confident in it's holding power but easy enough for a child to use as well.Will recommend A+
