Very solid game with memorable characters and satisfying gameplay!
While I feel to get the most enjoyment out of this game you'd have to know most of the series and characters involved with the story. The tight strategy gameplay and amazing attack animations will have you want to replay the game multiple times just to your fav units decimate foes! Another positive is that the translations is pretty good outside of a few grammatical errors here and there. Highly recommend!

but the core gameplay is rock solid with a fantastic cast of characters
The translation is a bit rough in places, but the core gameplay is rock solid with a fantastic cast of characters. They slowed the power climb to make the game not harder, but more challenging, by introducing different ways to advance your characters rather than ramping their stats up to the point of being untouchable. The graphics are the usual SRW mix of adorable and awesome, animations are super fluid, and it's great to be able to enjoy an SRW game without having a stack of fan translated notes next to you.

A solid entry in a proven series
This was the first video game I ever imported from outside the US. I was hesitant, but it was truly worth it.This is a particularly strong entry in the Super Robot Wars franchise, of which I've played several. The graphics are smooth and clean, the music (both original and adapted) is crisp and fits remarkably well, and the gameplay is at its core the same strong gameplay that's kept this franchise going for three decades. There are some translation issues, as you might expect given its origins and where it was translated for. The occasional spelling error is rather jarring, some of the word choices don't fit, and it's just strange to see Space Battleship Yamato (the series, not the ship itself) continuously and consistently called "Star Blazers". Some of the design choices are also odd (your units never begin a battle with full SP, for no reason I can fathom). These are ultimately minor issues in a strong final product.Be advised if you are an American buying this game: as this was a Japanese game translated for an Asian market, Circle confirms, X cancels. This is the opposite of the way it works in most US games.

Great for long-time fans of the series and newcomers alike
If you're familiar with any SR game then you already know what to expect: awesome mechs, a good story line, and customization to your heart's desire. It's also great that they use English now so you can enjoy the story better and you don't have to refer to a translation guide. The graphics and animations are well done as usual while the music compliments each scenario bettering your experience. Overall, this is a great game for any fan of the series or someone that wants to try out a Super Robot game.

Hilarious, lovable characters
Gameplay’s like fire emblem with characters from different worlds. Every time a new unit joins in, they get a funny explaination for their origin and don’t get me stated on the interactions between characters. Lore-wise, the game has plenty to read for background.

El juego llego bien y no hay problema
El producto quedó bien el problema es que el juego pues…era distinto que lo que esperaba. Ante de comprar el juego primero investiga el gameplay.

I just like giant japanese robot too much
I DOn't know why I WOULD spend over 60$ for a ps4 game. I just like giant japanese robot too much. I know it a import but after playing it for more than 20 hours...it just feel like a waste.

Love the super robot series
Love the super robot series. Fan of the OG anime as well. I've played OG and OG 2 on GBA. I have also played a couple of the Ps2 and psp versions. This game has a good mix of Gundam and Super Robot series mix. My favs are always Mazinger Z, Daitarn, and Getter Robo. Miss Gurren Lagan. I also wish SR points had a better use than just determining difficulty, but other than that it's a good addition to any Super Robot Wars fan's collection.
