Caused an allergic reaction
NOOOOO!!!!!! Absolutely horrible!!! I never write reviews, but I want to warn people about the potential effects of this product. Within the first few bites my baby started constantly scratching behind his ear. He developed a rash behind his ear that quickly spread across his face and neck. I thought this would be a good way to start allergen introduction early. But now, I don’t even know what he reacted to, and have to take him for allergy testing to figure it out.

The best
This stuff is amazing. I was nervous about introducing allergens to my baby, but found this to be an easy way to slowly introduce them. The best part is my baby must love the taste of this stuff too. If I ever find a puree he does not like, I mix this in and suddenly he loves it! I've recommended this to all my mom friends.

Eh
Definitely one of those things to mix into a smoothie or something. It has a strong odor that made me sick. It was hard to mix it, let alone make my baby eat it. Definitely a good reason to use it to help prevent allergies but definitely use single allergy ingredients first because the amount of allergens in this could make it difficult to identify even if you try to find it following. First exposures to allergens are typically minor, but subsequent exposures can be very dangerous. So please use other steps first before trying this. Say your child has a peanut allergy, first exposure from this will likely cause a rash, but when trying to determine what it was and giving only a peanut one after could lead to anaphylaxis. I personally didn't use this for allergens since they had all been ruled out. My reason was just to try different textures and get the nutrivitve benefits from it. Not a huge fan though.

Wonderful
This product is wonderful. We make our 15 months food. We started making her food at 6 months. When she was 9 months we ran into this product. We started using it to make her homemade food stretch out a bit longer. She was a healthy eater for sure. We started adding this powder with breast milk and she loved it so. She has loved her mealtimes ever since. I strongly recommend this product.
