I was hesitant to purchase the MagSafe model due to mixed reviews on magnet strength, etc. After finally getting my hands on one and trying it for myself, I can say the magnetic strength is totally sufficient for the majority of people using it with an iPhone with a MagSafe compatible case. I am using it with 6 cards currently, along with a couple of bills. If you hold onto the wallet and aggressively shake it, sure, the phone will disconnect. However, I think this shouldn’t be a measure of quality. The purpose of this product is to provide a method of attaching your wallet to your phone, and isn’t to attach your phone to a wallet. I think the strength is the sweet spot between making it very user-friendly to detach the wallet quickly when you need to access your cards, as well as holding it security to the back of your phone. It is more than sufficient at supporting the weight of the wallet without concern, which I think is the purpose of a MagSafe wallet. It is a high-capacity wallet that has been around for years, and now has the added functionality of MagSafe. If you are not comfortable with the standard magnetic strength, but don’t want to use the included strengthening tray, it also comes with a MagSafe ring that you can add to your case without changing the form factor of the case. I don’t see this discussed much, but I did not even find this necessary. My only complaint is that it is definitely pricey. I had some Amazon credit to use, and I have no regrets. I hope this review can answer some of the questions I had regarding this product prior to purchasing.

I've had plenty of wallets and card carrier things and let me tell you guys this one to me has been the longest lasting. One of the reasons I bought this was because I'd seen a bunch of ads and I thought sure I'll try it. At first it took some getting used to but after my adjustment period, I organized my cards how I usually use them and ever since I've never had problems with it. It may not be for everyone because you do sacrifice the amount of cash but since I tend to not carry much on me, I was fine. Had it for 5 years now and I've only replaced the band one but was thinking of getting a titanium one soon, hope this was helpful for someone out there!

My husband absolutely loves it I got one for my stepdad too. Extremely durable, super thin and modern , cards areeasily accessible and it allows you to put it together yourself however you like. Magnet is also super strong.If you're on the fence just get it. Totally worth the money and the hype if you ask either of the men I've gotten it for.. and both are the type of men that I wasn't sure would use it. But as soon as you tell them it's bulletproof they're telling everybody they know.

It's actually thicker than my previous wallet, a Dunn wallet. The reason I changed from my 8-year old Dunn to this was because I need more than 4 credit cards in my wallet and I travel internationally. The Dunn only had 4 slots (yeah, you could double-card the pockets, and the cash pocket didn't fit international currency well (had to fold it, or some would stick out from the top.This wallet's money clip should allow me to fold all bills into fourths, but I won't know until I travel again.The Ridge wallet actually didn't perform well with 4 cards in it. They were hard to slide out and fan out, but with 6 cards in, it works just fine. I like the bright orange color. It makes it easy to find so I'm not looking for it in my house going, "Where did I put my wallet?"I don't think I'm a big fan of the metal housing. In cold weather, it is cold, too.I would've liked some kind of transparent, 1 card slot on the front, for an ID or something, or a single card you don't want RFID blocked, like for a work-badge or something.

This product is excellent. Machining, finish, color, evenness of color... everything about the Ridge wallet is 100%. I am so pleased with it that I really wanted to leave a review. Now honestly, I don't understand the strap. It's supposed to hold your cash, but I don't really see how that would work well. I understand the money strap is a new thing, a young man thing, so that is cool, whatever. Still, I exchanged mine for the money clip (and also the Burnt Titanium color) and somewhat surprisingly, the fit and finish were one again perfect. Even the clip is placed evenly, perfectly shaped, no nicks or scratches. I mean, where there is so much ..... out there, it's just really nice to see someone taking pride in their work and putting out such a beautiful product. Lastly, yes, there are copies of the Ridge wallet, but as you look closer you will see they are a cheaper product. For example, the edges are not rounded smooth and to perfection as on the Ridge wallet. This would be an excellent gift for a girl trying to find something really nice for her guy. Anyway, there you go. If you don't mind spending a little extra money you will be very happy you did.

I got this for my husband’s Christmas gift, and he loves it! It’s very slim and compact, yet fits a lot of cards and cash. The only thing is that when you put so many cards, it gets a bit harder to take them out. Other than that, it’s a great wallet :)

Thought it would be an inconvenience at first with the way you have to take out and organize your cards but now I can’t imagine going back to a wallet bigger than this.

Solid wallet, love the design and after all these years it’s still holding up strong. Not loose or scratched at all.
