Surprised by this little unit - great sound and great features
I've owned a lot of JBL products in the past (and currently own more than a few). They have great sound, but I was never quite happy with the sound quality on some of the lower cost models (the Clip for example). I am not a bike rider but I wanted a clip-on speaker for working outside and walking/hiking, and found this by accident. I got it today and hooked it up - I can't speak for battery life, but regarding everything else:- Very easy to connect my phone via Bluetooth, the instructions are very clear;- The FM radio is a nice bonus, and it is VERY clear! I pick up most channels in my area extremely well. I only listen to the radio during emergencies/power outages but that may change. The channel scanning is very easy and intuitive IMO.- The sound quality overall is fantastic for what this speaker is - clear sound (some bass) and it can sound tinny until I adjusted my EQ on my iPhone. But still, even at first listen, I was surprised at how good the sound was out of this tiny little unit. Also, it's much louder than I expected (but I assume that has to be the case for a product called "Wind" designed to be used while riding a bike). It's perfect for what I will use it for, and the price is on point for the features and quality it delivers, very pleased.

Very great speaker
I was looking for a good speaker for my dirtbike that was light weight. Obviously need it to be waterproof. Need to be able to control the volume right from the speaker itself. This speaker has all of that and more. It is loud in the trails while riding. It clips to the handle bars well. I love how you can unclip it with ease and plug it in or bring it with you on the go when getting off the bike. Its an amazing speaker for its price point. I highly recommend it.

Great Overall With a Couple Caveats
The Sound is good as far as handlebar speakers go and I have owned several. I do wish it pumped out a little more volume. It getskind of drowned out in thaffic. The actuals sound quality is good, as I expected from JBL and for the price.Installation was easy but the mount is kind of flimsy. I haven't crashed with it yet. At least the speaker stays put on the handlebar. I've had ones that flip around when going over bumps. This is pretty basic design and JBL nailed it. Overall 7/10 . I am knocking off a point because the speaker I have was $80 USD. I would price it's value at around $10 or so less, but I guess you're paying for the brand which is branded loudly on the front, making it a target for thieves.

Great little speaker
Great addition to my ebike. Sound quality is great - much like my other JBL speakers. Mounting is solid. It has survived a 42 and a 53 mile ride.

Great for my Ebike
Mounted this on my ebike after trying a few other brands and this is the one I stuck with. Simple to mount and easy to quickly remove for charging. Sound quality is good and can hear clearly will riding. So far no issues with Bluetooth or anything else.

TERRIBLE RECEPTION.
this product has terrible reception the radio does not come in and the blue tooth does not want to work. when does finally pick up it cuts out and has lots of static and white noises. when can finally get to work the sound is good. battery life is ok. but does not last very long. for price, this is a disappointment.

Good sound, mediocre mount
The good: the unit works, sound is pretty good for the size, Bluetooth connection is easy to establish and stable. Battery life is ok, though does down much faster if you pay it loud.Middle news: the fm radio sensitivity and selectivity are not great. I think this was clearly an afterthought.Bad news: the mount is pretty bad. The unit is somewhat heavy because of the battery and speaker magnet, and because of the shape of the mount, the whole thing extends as a rather long "arm" from the handlebars. This sets up a strong vibratory mode, causing the device to shake when going even over moderately rough pavement. This is made worse by the fact that no matter how tight you turn the attachment screw, the unit will rotate over time. On my bike it turns over the handlebars, away from the rider. The worst: when the unit is on the mount and going over a bumpy road, it rattles. Rattling is not ok in an audio device. The worst of this can be mitigated by replacing the included spacer rubber pieces with harder ones of your own. I was able to stop the rattle by adding some stick-on rubber pads in strategic locations on the mount's clip section. The loop half of Velcro tape might work even better.Overall, it's ok, but I don't think they tested on actual bicycles very much.

Solid piece for electric scooter!
The Wind 3 is great. Fits well on the handlebar of my electric scooter, the Kaabo Mantis King GT. Battery life is iite but if you have a handle bar / saddle bag and keep a battery bank with you, you can charge, listen, and ride at the same time. It's loud and easy to dismount to use a party speaker. FM Radio I don't use but wasn't impressed. The display is great and solid for showing battery life. Buttons are easy to use. If they make a Wind 4, it honestly just needs 10 hour battery like the Jbl Clip 4 which I also own.
