On the shelving, is it big enough for a 30 by 30cm basket?

Very tight on the width. I make the width of the shelf just over 30 cm, but the width of the front opening to the shelf is only about 29 cm. The depth of the shelf is fine. You might be able to fit a basket if you can tilt it to get through the front opening, or by fitting the basket to the shelf before you fit the doors.
