Used these to make Chinese spice sticky bacon skewers. Absolutely fab and enough room at the bottom to hold them without burning your hands.

We are having a "forest school" week - these are perfect for the children to toast their marshmallows ....... without getting too close to the fire!

I was just joking with my wife that there wasn't much you can say about pointy sticks. They were sharp enough to pierce marshmallows and long enough to keep the kids away from the fire. Apparently though, not all skewers meet this standard. At a recent national trust marshmallow toasting event, their skewers were short, thin, caught fire, and snapped.
