Well made lightweight breathable hat helps to keep you cooler in the hot sun. My son loves the hat. He is a very large man with shoe size 15 and 6"3.5". This fits his head, but if you want to tighten it there is a way to tighten it easily. It is hard to find a hat that my son can actually wear, so I am thankful we found this one. It made a good gift. It keeps the sun off of your ears and neck so it is better than just a hat. Nice looking hat and great price. Nice quality too.

The hat performs well as expected, with a fairly wide run and the super useful flap in the back...But what surprised me was how well it worked in water. I wore it in the ocean and the material wasn't super absorbent. Rather, I was able to keep it on my head and the strap kept the Waves from pushing it off.The material it's made of allowed it to dry quickly, and surprisingly it didn't take on the "ocean smell" that my swimsuit and other clothes did... So I really like the material!The sun blockage is very good without being visually obtrusive. There are fisherman hats with more flaps hanging down, but those would obscure view and might look unusual.This is normal looking enough that I wear it to the beach, to the golf course, and walking my kids to school. It's good.The stitching feels professional and all in all feels like a quality product.

I love this hat. The quality is nice and I like how it goes down and covers the back of your neck to protect you from the sun. I highly recommend it.

I live in Oklahoma and our summers are hot and humid for long periods. This hat has protected my head, neck, and face from sunburn. I like the wide brim it covers the face for shade. Only thing I would note is noises can be a little bit muffled or quieter because of the neck cover, which can be annoying if people need to speak with you on a regular basis. Sometimes the neck cover will blow on my head because of the wind which we also get a lot of. I would rather have this than a baseball cap. It does not squeeze on my head like a baseball cap would. Lightweight makes for great comfort.

Son is a landscaper and loves this hat. Keeps his head and neck out of the sun.

Not used for heavy work. But good for sun protection. Quality fabric.

I returned. Why? Because I did not think they were worth the money. They were not made well and seemed flimsy. I did not like the look either. The brim was wide to keep the sun off the face somewhat. But, the sun came in from the sides. I had some pre-cancerous things taken off of my face and lips and I need a sun hat that will give me 50% or more sun block when I'm walking my dog or going out for the day. This hat would not work for the purpose I needed it for so I returned it. I gave this hat a overall 3 star because it is "average" in my opinion (some sun was blocked but not all the sun I needed blocked). I gave it 2 stars for sun protection, a 5 star for comfort because it was very comfortable to wear, and a 5 star for being light weight. I am looking for a 5 star sun hat to keep the sun off of my face, ears, and neck and this hat was not that hat.
