Probably took me longer to unwrap it than to fit it. We'll pleased with the whole service. Excellent price and arrived sooner than expected. Good quality and simple to fit. Works perfectly.

I had a bath that was painfully slow to empty after shower or bath, even after cleaning out pipework thoroughly, i then ran a test with plug top unscrewed and timed difference with plug removed then in place. It took 30 seconds to clear all water with no pug, but over 3 minutes with plug in place so I knew the pipes were clean. I tried several plumbers and plumbers merchants who all said the only way was to fit a new waste unit and plug as you can't get spares. this would have meant removing bath panels to get underneath the bath and also resealing after, a job estimated at £150. I then looked on the net and found a reference to this item and though worth a try for a few quid. Arrived next day and from opening the package to completing the fitting (shifting the old one anti clockwise a slight struggle) the problem was solved completely. Bath now empties in 30 seconds - brilliant

Excellent product and reasonable price

It just works.a main body length would have been good the bit with the screw in.Lost internal spring so did not know how far out the sliding bit was out of top. Have ordered another one in the mean time

The spring had perished and twisted in the original piston I had in our bathroom sink, resulting in the plug being stuck in the down position. This was a perfect like-for-like replacement and the plug is now “up” and running again! I was concerned that that the measurements would not be exact, but was worth a try for the price, fortunately it fitted perfectly. It would’ve cost more in fuel driving around to find a plumbing shop!

This is a very cheap item and it shows. The bottom 16mm thread only has a couple threads ( about 2.5 turns), whilst the sellers image shows at least 4. This all equates to a little less robustness.The mechanism is a bit clunky, but stripped down, polished and reassembled it's fine.You get what you pay for, and I'm tight.The delivery time was excellent, but packaging minimal.Suggest seller should amend image so as to reflect the actual part; to not take action would be disingenuous.

Visited local outlets who were only interested in selling me a complete unit at three + times the cost, they didn't sell this part seperately.The part was ordered and arrived very quickly, it was easy to fit and worked well. Excellent purchase and good value for money even with post and packing
