Benadryl has been my life line thought out my life, so this is one item I purchase often during different seasons. I get very bad reactions to certain insects and Benadryl is the only product that seems to work for me when I encounter these reactions.

I take a half of one to help me sleep and keep me from itchy skin.

Benadryl is an old friend; I've been taking it for many years - first, before the present generation of preventives (i.e., fluticasone propionate) were developed, and still today when sudden exposures or non-nasal allergy symptoms raise their ugly little heads. The tiny tablets are easy to swallow and are well-coated to prevent having to taste the medication itself (which isn't pleasant - it's very bitter). My only complaint is with the blister packs; it's VERY difficult to get these tablets out; the backing of the individual pills is pretty much childproof, to the point that they're almost ADULT-proof! I've had to take scissors or other implements to them, and that's a bit over the top. But once you get at them, the product is excellent.
