The Doctor said I needed Calcium plus D3, because of having "BRITTLE BONE" due to old age. Can you believe he had the nerve to tell me I was old! I'll leave that alone for now, but I am a very young 77-years-old! But as always, I followed orders and went to my favorite shopping site, Amazon.com and this seemed to be what he had talked to me about, so I ordered it and have been taking it every day for about a month. Went to the Doctor for a check-up yesterday and my Lab report showed an improvement in my Calcium-D3 levels. So maybe he was right, that I needed to be taking it, BUT HE IS STILL NOT OFF THE HOOK FOR CALLING ME OLD!!k

The other kind I use to buy would sometimes be split open; these seem to be better made than they were. They are not small, but I don't have any trouble swallowing them. I am very pleased with this brand so far.
