Great Product, fits SOME 12 Gauge Wire
These connectors/housings are an industry standard. I have no interest in using cheaper imported imitations. They're a good value for what you get; that it, a reliable connector that's relatively easy to assemble IF the Anderson instructions are followed. They have YouTube videos available. If you don't want to use the Anderson tool for assembly, a 1/8" flat blade screwdriver is much better than a pointed tool for seating the connector in the housing.Regarding whether they fit a particular gauge of wire, I can "conclusively" say that the included 30A connectors (the plastic part is the housing) fit SOME 12 gauge wire but not all. I tried stranded Southwire brand stranded 12 ga and it fit easily but that is not a type of wire that's appropriate for connections where constant moving and flexing is expected as it only has 19 coarse strands. I also tried some very flexible silicone insulated 12 gauge wire that has 680 very fine strands and it was too large to fit the 30A connectors.

Great solution for DC power connectors.
Andersen power poles are the best for amateur radio projects and these work well.

They appear genuine, in an unmarked bag.
They came in an unmarked bag, but I cannot see any difference between them and the genuine ones I have. They work as advertised, and connect with all my other sets.

Buy the Best-Anderson PP
There are a lot of off brand connector out there, but the best quality by far are Anderson Power Poles. Worth Every cent.

Good connectors
I used to use these back in my RC days, I never thought I’d be back to them in my radio hobby, but I am! Their a good connector, I’ve never had a failure from one

Does not work on 14 gauge wire
The listing says these are supposed to work on 12 - 16 gauge wire, but they do NOT work on anything larger than 16 gauge. I had no trouble using these on 16 gauge wire, but I had a VERY POOR experience trying to use these on 14 gauge wire. The contacts will not click into place inside the housing. When you insert the contact into the housing, tt gets to a certain point and then stops, like it's hit a wall. After hours of crimping, re-crimping, inserting, re-inserting, carefully re-inserting, etc etc etc, I had 2 of the 4 connectors attached. Finally, I just gave up in frustration and abandoned the effort. Disappointing.
